Really? According to another thread Cap 25 blue finished ahead of SW and Heros at G8. Balto clubs definitely not #1.

Cap 26 and Cap 24 aren’t in the top 10. Cap 25 is legit.

Cap 24 is a Top 10 team, but they have had several injuries this summer.

Cap 26 is going to be a top team next year. Always takes a minute for them to click

So, before you act like not being in the Top Ten is the be all, end all

It is true that the first year Cap teams aren’t great. Even ‘25 which may be their best team ever. Cap teams are figuring out team dynamics the first year. That’s the biggest downside to the Capital model. Sophomore years tells the story. I wouldn’t sleep on ‘26s yet (I don’t have a girl in that class fyi).

I have a daughter who is out of Cap now, but in my opinion, the 26 class is the strongest class since the 22 class

The ‘22 class was the worst Cap class ever, hands down. Disaster from day one.

Any BLC girls trying out for Sky Walkers?

Skywalkers and Capital tryout dates overlap.

will be interesting too see how these girls HS tryouts go. To date girls who stay with BLC through 8th grade have yet to be a major impact player in HS.

Skywalkers going to be a top-4 MD team I think when the dust settles. Will be interesting to see where Capital comes in the mix.

Will Pride take a step back?

What an insight, considering that the 2027’s are the first “graduating” class of 8th graders BLC has had. Guarantee there will be impact players in that group.

Who on earth would anyone drive to Towson to play for Skywalkers??? Maybe as a last resort if you didn't make one of the Capital teams but even that is a stretch. Jump on Stars or Pride. I understand SW has a good recruiting record but 3 hours round trip is ridiculous IMO. Crazy lacrosse parents in the DMV.

If its 2027, you only need to do this a few weeks in the fall and end of May through early July. Its not a big commitment.

Sure, technically true, but for a high school club team to compete, the players need to train and work out outside of the team commitment, and that wouldn't be as convenient for DMV players to work out with Baltimore players. Not to mention, it is more difficult to build personal relationship with your teammates with limited interaction. Also, being on a "top 4" team does not necessarily improve your recruiting position. I would rather my player be a top 10 player on 10th ranked capital than bottom 10 player on 5th ranked SW. Families need to determine what is best for their player and not be so concerned about being on the best team.

10th ranked Capital, agree. But Capital Orange or Stars or Pride, different argument. Everyone has to do what is best for their family obviously, but I wouldn't rule out Baltimore because of the drive.

If I'm driving to Baltimore, it would be for Hero's Green or M&D. Certainly not Skywalkers.
