Wouldn’t it be the other way around? An American is a descendant of Diana and William?

Please state your sources. I have never heard this "American blood" in Di or William or Harry

Famous Kin

It comes as no surprise that Princess Diana has many connections to the Royal Family. What may be surprising is her connections to famous Americans. Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and George W. Bush are just a few of the many U.S. presidents that she is related to. She has connections to famous businessmen such as John D. Rockefeller and Walt Disney. Explorer Meriwether Lewis, Actor Humphrey Bogart, and architect Frank Lloyd Wright are just a few of the many other famous cousins to the Princess of Wales.

A Range Rover being driven by Prince William and carrying Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Edward's wife Sophie has arrived at Balmoral Castle.

He flies helicopters, I’m sure he can manage a car. The Queen drove until very recently. She was a mechanic during WWII.

He also drove all three of his babies home from the hospital.

The country owns them not the family.

They are owned by the Crown, which I’m not the same as the country.

Except for the pieces in the Queen’s personal collection.

Diana’s great grandmother was an American heiress actually. You can google any of this.

Why is Camilla called "Queen Consort" instead of just "Queen"?
Will she be called Queen Camilla?

That’s right, the Crown Jewels belong to the Crown but most other well known pieces are personal property. If you look up their provenance, many were owned by Queen Alexandra or Queen Mary before the Queen inherited them.

Some of the jewels are the Queen’s personal property, and I assume will be dispensed according to her will. Many of the jewels, including the “Crown Jewels,” belong to the Crown, so they will be under Charles’s control.

No they don't get dispensed, they get kept in a line - so Camilla can wear them and then Kate.

Kate drove to Lamberton to pick the kids up from school. Philip drove. They all do. Security is different there.

Interesting - so the Queen doesn't will any of them specifically? Does she have personal property/items she can pass through a will?
