Hate to disappoint you, but I'm a 57-year-old, very fit woman who wears an N95 or KN95 when I go out because both my DH and I have medical conditions (that we were born with, BTW) that would make Covid challenging for us. And I pay attention to the science, like the new study showing that Covid infection can damage your cardiovascular system as much as smoking or obesity.

This is not true. Many of these states currently have higher case rates than they had 6 or 7 months ago and kept mandates in place.
It is political for them. Their focus groups and the polls are brutal and they need to do something to change the narrative.

Plus, kids 5-11 weren’t vaccinated 6 months ago.

So? Kids are at almost no risk of bad outcomes from this virus.

Hate to disappoint you, but I'm a 57-year-old, very fit woman who wears an N95 or KN95 when I go out because both my DH and I have medical conditions (that we were born with, BTW) that would make Covid challenging for us.
