Now you know that most people think you're a clown, but they're too polite to say it.

Have YOU taken a hard look around the entire country? What never ceases to amaze me is how arrogant and self absorbed DMV folks like you are. You think you know what is best for everyone based solely on the fact you live here. That is your credential. Your only one. Read a paper (not WaPo) and know that the rest of the country think you are the clown, with no doubt the same fat body and a cloth mask - just like the trashy woman screaming in the store.

This isn't about "the entire country" - it IS about the DMV (which includes Alexandria) since that's where Youngkin and the room he should've been reading is.

Want to know if masks and other mitigation work? Just look at the statistics. Virginia and DC are 41st and 43rd respectively in Covid deaths/million.

Hate to disappoint you, but I'm a 57-year-old, very fit woman who wears an N95 or KN95 when I go out because both my DH and I have medical conditions (that we were born with, BTW) that would make Covid challenging for us. And I pay attention to the science, like the new study showing that Covid infection can damage your cardiovascular system as much as smoking or obesity.

Proving that you are, in fact, a Karen, as expected.

There won’t be many people like this as the dam starts to break and people wake up and are released from their stockholm like helsinki syndrome.

I’m on vacation right now and good thing about being on vacation outside the country at the current time is NO Karens!

I envy you! They'll have to find something else to be their main personality trait again

Of course, those Governors aren’t being attacked. And everyone has noticed that, whether they’ll admit it or not.

This whole thing has aged terribly for dems. They’re playing catch-up AND throwing stones at the same time. Very awkward place to be in.

Well said. Youngkin got all of this going - he didn't hesitate. Dem governors are sheep.

“The City of Alexandria and the Alexandria Health Department (AHD) strongly urge everyone help end the pandemic by wearing a mask over both your nose and mouth, washing your hands frequently, and getting vaccinated. Approximately 1 in 20 Alexandrians who have tested positive for COVID-19 have required hospitalization, so without these critical steps, additional lives may be at risk. Your neighbors and loved ones are counting on you to stop the spread of COVID-19.”
https://www.alexandriava.gov/Coronavirus

Alexandria is currently is “high transmission” red zone. In fact, it’s more than 5x over the lower limit of high transmission.
https://www.alexandriava.gov/performance/info/dashboard.aspx?id=114883

Safeway policy is to require masks for everyone in areas of high transmission.

Screw Youngkin. Like Boris Johnson, he’s ignoring the rules the rest of us follow. Asshole.

Do you think that using profanity makes you sound smarter? News flash, it doesn’t.

PP is correct.

Youngkin is a f*^king tool.

And those of us who voted for him in Virginia are getting a chuckle out of how he’s triggering you little snowflakes.

So much this ^^.

Of course you are, you spiteful POSs. It's all a game to you.

It’s kind of sociopathic.

Would you say your delight and relief at Biden winning was spiteful and sociopathic? Or was that somehow “different,” as usual? You people are the most pathetic hypocrites.

I didn’t find humor in Trump supporters being “triggered” by Biden’s win. More like terrified when your people tried to overturn the election and effectively overthrow the government.

Oh, shut up. At this point, you just sound utterly ridiculous. Oh, and spiteful and sociopathic.

I guess you can’t defend your party on the merits.

I guess you can't stop inserting Jan. 6 in every.single.thread - even when it's completely off-topic. I hope you realize sane people are tuning you out.

You must be joking. LWNJs must have spare fingers to replace the ones that wear out from their *constant* finger-wagging and sermonizing. Spare us all.

Can't defend Youngkin acted like a douche so you need to attack the messenger. Got it.

It’s douchey to not wear a mask? The only person in that situation acting like a douche was the fat woman yelling at someone in public. She can tell him to read the room all the wants, but she needs to read an Atkins book

It amazes me that liberals are STILL harping on this ridiculous nothingburger - the Governor was not in a mask-mandated area. He chose not to wear a mask, as he is fully vaccinated (and encourages others to be, as well). He did absolutely nothing wrong, yet these nutjobs are trying to make it seem like he committed a crime. Their sense of proportionality is so off-kilter, it really makes me wonder about their mental states. The elections can't come soon enough.

Yes, it's douchey to not wear a mask and it's douchey to make personal attacks on people calling out their POS governor.

Is that all you have? Making fat jokes and storming the capitol? Bunch of losers.

The Va mask question is a non issue except for the sad folks hanging on to the one thing that they thought suggested virtue. As for the fat “jokes” - no joke - the tacky cloth masker yelling was, in fact, fat. As for your “storming the capital” - I find it interesting you assume all of the lost the mask folks support it. Partisan garbage that isn’t even imaginative or interesting or novel. Just throwing up CNN. Now remove that silly mask and get some fresh air!

+1

Minimal spread in VA schools? Wonder why...

80% vaccination rate? Higher in public jobs.

Not 80% in ESs.

Not 80% for boosted kids in MS/HS.

Always a new goal post.

Wow - no self-awareness at all. How many personal attacks did you just cram into YOUR post? Look - if you're going to repeatedly call our governor a "POS," be prepared to be called exactly the same. You are proving to be not only unhinged, but also extremely unpleasant.
