You haven't heard of any close contacts testing positive personally?

I have. Even vaccinated ones.

Also take a look at the WHS high school outbreak right now. I was keeping an open mind about test to stay but it didn't work there at all with sports.

Outbreak? 6 football players? I'm sure they're not hanging out together outside of football. LOL

You're not very good at counting if you think there are only 6 cases.

eh that's just the standard MO for Covid deniers. Use excuses to pretend it didn't spread in schools or on sports teams and undercount cases.

You can see the real numbers on the dashboard and they ain't pretty.

There's a total of 20 cases for all of Wakefield in the last 7 days in a HS with 2,241 kids (0.9%). Most likely every single one of them is vaccinated. Most likely, they're all asymptomatic

This is a virus that will be here the rest of our lives. Get a grip!

Why do you think that most likely they are all asymptomatic? This is pure speculation. You want so badly for this not to be a big deal. 20 cases IS a big deal. Major outbreak. Stop your denial.

Get a grip. 20 cases over 7 days in a school of 2500+ kids, not to mention employee, is NOT an outbreak much less a major one. In one classroom in a few days, yes that would be an outbreak. But sorry to burst your bubble, 20 is not an outbreak.

Are you that dumb or just being deliberately obtuse and trying to downplay this?

Most of the outbreaks reported by VDH have a lot less than 20 cases.

And this one could still be growing. Get your head out of the sand, PP.

Has it been confirmed that all 20 of those cases are connected to the football team? I’ve only seen that claim here.

The Covid denial runs deep with the APE crew. Can't even admit 20 cases is a rather big problem.

You don’t even know which posters here are/are not in APE, so this is a pretty blind conclusion you’re drawing.

It depends on how sick they are, doesn’t it? 20 positives where everyone recovers in a week or less seems like NBD.

Or they have no symptoms and are not sick at all. So yeah, 20 of those is really NBD.

Not APE. But I am in AEM.

The news reported that last Friday's football came was cancelled because of players' COVID and the APS website says most of the positives are athletes. No one really knows, though, unless someone here is with WHS athletics.

The dashboard says at least 4 of the cases aren't classified as "athlete," so seems unlikely they can all be on the team.

Football isn’t the only fall sport.

Up to 21 cases now. At first they were all athletes, now 3-4 are non athletes.

Sounds like it started on a team, then spread.

You are totally speculating that they all have no symptoms.

No way all 21 have no symptoms. No way.

You mean, you’re completely speculating that those other four cases spread from a team. So many other schools have a handful of cases this week that have nothing to do with school-based athletics, but Wakefield is the magic bubble where the only infected people anyone could come into contact with are athletes.

Yes I think your claim that all 21 have no symptoms is HIGHLY HIGHLY unlikely and I said so.

You so want this to be NBD cuz it gets in the way of your covid denying agenda. so sorry, covid doesn't work that way.
