But...VDOE uploaded this when they were trying to backtrack on the part about acceleration. They literally DID say it.

concepts and develop a much deeper and more relevant understanding of each

Yes, they were blending AGA. They weren't requiring students to take them in 8-10. It's misleading and pushes the RWNJ false narrative around advanced math. Still. In Feb 2022.

OK, so if you agree that this info was correct circa early April 2021, all you are opposed to in that entire multi-paragraph informational section is the fact that VMPI later clarified that "Grade 8 Math" and the like (which were called by their grades) could be taken other grades, even though that wasn't their original plan?

APE said "that all students in Grades 8-10 would take" which is untrue because school systems would slice and dice up the curriculum as they deem fit to provide compressed/accelerated paths, just like they do today with Math 6-7-8, PA-A-G-A, etc.
Sure. Maybe they are sloppy and it was an error. But it just happens that it's the same "error" that the GOP has been pushing for the last 10 months? The same "error" they made themselves right before the election in the fall?
So they are either clueless or they have ulterior motives. Neither is a good look for an "informed/bipartisan" group.
