+ 100. This also goes to how Lively and Reynolds’s failed to anticipate Baldoni actually defending himself. They are cunning but the happiest Hollywood couple ever are both visibly, reportedly, consistently, low in both empathy and intellect. They squared up to the wrong one.

NP. I think it's funny. You love your spouse, then you have kids and you know that you'd do anything to protect them, even use your spouse (who is still your favorite person!) as a human shield. For me, it's the image it conjures of grabbing the unassuming spouse that makes it funny (and just the fact that I relate to that profound transition from person to protector).

It’s just a dumb thing to say, and they have a history of doing dumb things like marrying at a plantation and going scorched earth on someone. He is not Donald trump and can’t act with complete impunity and come out a winner, though he would love to.

I wonder how someone like Scarlett Johansson married him, but she was young so there’s that.
