Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

Yikes

IDK. I get this. He's joking but kids change your life and everything you ever thought you cared about.

Where's the "joke"? How did that make you laugh? Why would you say such a thing publicly? It's a pattern of behavior. He can't help but blurt out his contempt for his wife. Probably because it's all a sham.

I have harped on this a few times in this thread but I can’t let it go - the detail that Justin was in their apartment at least twice to talk about this film at the same time they weren’t getting along? It just made no sense.

Now I’m thinking it was a power move by Ryan. Summoning Justin to his tribeca penthouse.

I feel sorry for Blake. Not that’s she free of culpability but I don’t wish RR on any woman. Ugh. Poor Justin.

Oh please. Both Blake and Ryan are ruthless climbers who have decades of documented using of people and orbiting despicable men to boost themselves. This was all methodically choreographed.

Yea. I go back and forth to thinking she must be the worlds biggest a-hole to feeling sorry for her because I think he’s a controlling jerk.

The simplest explanation: He's a stereotypical snarky gay man and their marriage was arranged by Hollywood talent managers.

A gay or bi sexual A-list Hollywood male actor would never marry a beard!

NP. I think it's funny. You love your spouse, then you have kids and you know that you'd do anything to protect them, even use your spouse (who is still your favorite person!) as a human shield. For me, it's the image it conjures of grabbing the unassuming spouse that makes it funny (and just the fact that I relate to that profound transition from person to protector).

It’s just a dumb thing to say, and they have a history of doing dumb things like marrying at a plantation and going scorched earth on someone. He is not Donald trump and can’t act with complete impunity and come out a winner, though he would love to.

I wonder how someone like Scarlett Johansson married him, but she was young so there’s that.

I’m going to check back on this thread later to see if the litigators come back (discussion was interesting)—not here to engage with dimwit posters like the above.

They aren’t used to not getting their way and don’t have the capability of seeing that they are the a-holes.

Yep. And their neighbor Martha Stewart doesn't seem to like them. They are arrogant and drunk with power.

So the public doesn't like them yet they are drunk with power? From where does this power come from exactly?

They used to have a good public image. They both got good press and a lot of people liked their public displays of affection. Also, he is a billionaire and she is best friends with a billionaire.
