Wayfarer co-financed (with other studios) a movie Scarlett has already directed in NYC (it wrapped last April). Baldoni and Heath are both listed as executive producers but it looks like Scarlett's own production company (These Pictures), Pinky Promise, and Maven Pictures are doing the more hands on work. Wayfarer was just an investor.

Baldoni has no projects in pre-production or development, according to IMDB. Not as a producer, director, or actor.

Lively has three movies in development or pre-production. One of them is with Richard Gere, Diane Keaton, and Lin-Manuel Miranda and actually sounds pretty cute. It doesn't have a director attached yet that I can tell but I know who probably won't be considered.

Wow, if he can only get executive producer on a Scarlett Johanssen film, he's screwed.

That movie already wrapped. It filmed in spring of 2024. So his involvement predates any of the bad press around the Lively/It Ends With Us issues.

He has nothing else in the pipeline. Will be interesting to see if that continues. He has his own production company so Wayfarer could continue to bankroll stuff for him to direct, but it could be hard for him to get the cast he wants without broader industry interest. And It Ends With Us was distributed by Sony but I would bet they are not eager to do another project with Wayfarer or Baldoni given the mess this turned into. Also Lively is alleging that Baldoni didn't follow Sony's marketing plan for the movie (part of her allegations is that he intentionally tried to undermine her during promotion by not following the florals/story of redemption marketing Sony had planned and instead emphasizing the domestic violence angle, which Sony had explicitly not wanted them to emphasize in marketing) -- if there is truth to that, I would bet Sony was not happy about it, especially as this helped emphasize the drama between them.

I don't know. I don't think this whole thing is going to be *good* for Baldoni.

Of course this is not good for Baldoni. Blake and Ryan tried to ruin the career of someone with much less power than them, seemingly for their own gaining grade. Congratulations to them. It seems like he still has a ton of public support, only time will tell how much this hurt him but of course it wasn’t good.

They also hurt Colleen Hoover. Who deactivated her Instagram account and I’m sure it will not be front center promoting her next movie.

There’s no question this hurt them too, though. If this was a PR win they wouldn’t be turning off Instagram comments and canceling appearances at award shows.

+1. The photo even that RR posted that these Reddit people use shows such contempt for his wife. I think BL is immature and slow, but mean as hell, was attracted to JB, it wasn’t reciprocated - and that separately she wanted to feel like a Big Creator in overalls, but she can’t think nor write, just “edit.” Snatching credits was going to be her consolation prize. And all of this would have suited her but she overshot, made EEO claims and tried to swerve her bullshit and make it fit into MeToo. It’s absolutely gross and it’s career ending in terms of film. Her marble-mouthed emoting will be missed by the psycho defending her here like it’s her job.

I think you nailed it. But I also think it was a larger conspiracy cooked up by her husband. She’s way too dim to engineer and deploy all of this on her own.

Sure, she’s still pretty…for a 40 year old mom. Hollywood is full of perfect 10s in their prime who have never given birth. If this man wanted to cheat on his wife, there are far more attractive options all around him. He was not attracted to this middle aged ditz.

When I watch Justin's interviews, I see someone who comes off as fake. But not because he's hiding malicious secrets about himself. Just someone who desperately wants to project a very polite and professional demeanor.
