Just give us any new dirt. Did he redeem his crap reporting with the interview?

Why wouldn't Edison now be awarded the victory, Hayfraud disqualified, and Edison play on in the playoffs?

Good question.

Hayfield didn’t forfeit the game to Edison

Sigh.... You really don't get it do you?

The new evidence is grounds for disqualification.
Hayfraud's "win" is reversed.

Nothing was proven. The superintendent just couldn’t handle anymore of the scrutiny and threw in the towel.

Responses like this scream Gatehouse but ok. I have no connection to Hayfield but honestly FCPS covers everything up and it's become a joke of a county. Maybe it's just too big for one person to oversee....maybe it needs to be cut into three sub divisions. I don't know but I do know that FCPS comes across as shady and it feels like the kids are not their concern.

Anonymous wrote:The story I heard from an assistant coach whose head coach was at the meeting was that Reid promised to pull Hayfield once she was shown the texts. The coaches agreed to play with the expectation Hayfield would be removed by FCPS.
When she dicked around for a week sending vague emails and let the Edison game play, a frustrated coach leaked the texts to the FT.

If this rumor is true, my bet is on the West Potomac coach, Chadwick Louisville. Fritts was the head coach and Assistant DSA at Mount Vernon for 7 years before he took the job at Hayfield last year. Louisville was one of his assistant coaches. I heard that he was the coach who organized the other coaches to send the letter threatening forfeit.

Louisville sucks as a coach, he won’t out scheme you, and when he can’t out athlete you he falls apart and he’ll lose it and place blame on kids and assts.

You guys think he’s the one who ratted Fritz out?

No one "ratted out" anyone. The guy Monty was texting with seemed like he understood Monty was getting himself in deep trouble and was trying to subtly warn him off. This guy probably forwarded the text to a bunch of other coach friends months ago. That's why there were rumors about "homeless" fraud since the summer. The coaches had all seen the text when they met with Reid. She is claiming she never saw it.

Again speculation, whomever had the text waited and for what, this type evidence could hv been presented up front and this debacle doesn’t get this far

I didn’t think it was a snitch. I thought somewhere it was said they came to light via a FOIA request. Which takes a while to get so that’s why it’s just now coming out.

The messages were on a county phone?

I've been told in trainings that if you check your work email on a personal phone, the entire contents of said phone are discoverable.

Might go delete my Outlook app now that I'm thinking about it...

If you are writing your SB members, be prepared to get a long ridiculous response back from the ones that signed the letter.

What do you expect to get out of Ricardo’s interview with a hard core white supremacist?

Give it up already.

Dunne's doing good job distinguishing himself from the usual dreck on school board. He's not signing on to the gaslighting that Reid and Frisch & co. are looking to peddle. He's rightly listening to his constituents (there's a concept) and pushing hard for answers.

He's taking measured approach (he's noted that superintendent has done some good things in other areas). But he's also not letting her/them slide on how much their integrity/transparency has suffered under this incident - and the steps they need to take to try to correct that going forward.

In fact he believes she is the right person for the job in just about every other facet. She just grossly misread the room & kicked the wrong hornets nest.

Why would you advance a 3-7 team with No previous preparation only to get sent out to be slaughtered again by another opponent.

Anonymous wrote:So per Asra, Cafferky--FCPS's $900/hour private lawyer, represented the Hayfield families in court pro bono. How is that not a conflict of interest with FCPS, his biggest client?

FCPS would have been asked to sign to waive conflict of interest, which they clearly did since he represented them. The school board needs to immediately move the work at Blankenship to another law firm as the firm should have known better than to even ask for waiver.

Why did they play Hayfraud in the 1st place then using your logic?

Asra has been on 106.7 The Fan with Grant & Danny, BMitch and Finlay… Asra & Dunne have separately mentioned having “receipts” so buckle up and get your excuses ready. What some PWC folks don’t know about FCPS, it is corrupt to the core.

FCPS is too big & way too powerful. Most parents feel helpless fighting the bureaucracy. This has been the only scandal that seems to have pierced the armor. I think each of the 8(?) regions of FCPS should be an independent school district with their own superintendent and elected school board - perhaps they can have a contract with a central transportation office and other essential services like the City of Fairfax currently has with FCPS. That gives power back to the parents & taxpayers.

Mind sharing the response? curious to see if they're still doubling down on their nonsense even after events of this week...
