Her appearance and making money seem to be her only priorities.

And what makes you think she isn't perfectly aware of her own proportions? She isn't trying to dress appropriately for the context, she's trying to look cute, like she's probably been told she should her whole life.

Nah, there’s something else at play here because back when she was just a regular old nepotism hire at her family’s mob business (where it made sense), she more or less dressed herself decently. Business suits that looked mostly normal mostly.

And she most definitely seems unaware of what her proportions are. Just stymied.

Or, you know, she’s aging and her body is changing naturally (yes, I know this is in addition to any surgical procedures she’s had done) and sometimes it takes awhile to figure things out. Don’t act like you’ve never been through the same thing. Every week there are threads about dressing for recent weight gain, or when things start drooping, or as you age you carry weight in different places than you always did. Give me a break.

Ah, the "she's just like us" argument. Well, no, she's not because the rest of us aren't part of the Trump WH through gross nepotism cavorting on the public stage in see-through skirts while lining her (poorly placed) pockets

She can afford a stylist. She clearly has no one in her life who loves her enough to tell her to stop doing this.

Not the worst. I like the color. Capris not so much (matronly) and the tank is too low cut for work.

Capris with sky high heels is always a bad look. And those capris have that big belted detail, which she then partially covers with the blazer. Huh? Why on earth would you do that? Agree that the tank is way too low.

Amazing that she can so often take something that should at least be an okay outfit and completely wreck it.

Yeah - I keep trying to figure out what is wrong with this outfit. I think you're right that it's the strangely cut capris (baggy and short) with the too tall shoes plus the big bow at the waist. It's just...a lot. And doesn't seem to match with the cut of the jacket. Even though clearly they are all made from the same leprechaun skin.

Are you sure? The pants seem to have a shinier fabric, and I think there is a slight difference in color, which possibly could be due to difference in fabric. Dyed to match possible?

Really? I work in a courthouse and take metro to work every day and very rarely see professional looking women wearing anything higher than a Sensible Interview Pump.

the lego set is way too difficult. photo obviously staged

Another parent to say -
I have sharp tables and no injuries yet to my active boys.
My 5yr old did that set with minimal supervision
As a parent of similar aged kids, nothing in the photo seems staged to me.

your 5 year old can put together 12 year + lego architecture sets with "minimal supervision"?

yes, that tank is way too low for work.

Not the PP, but mine certainly could, and did. He's not a genius or anything, but was (and still is) just really good at lego. I agree that this didn't look staged to me. And the kids doing the set are 8 and 6 - nothing surprising about that.

Yes, but you, or the PP I’m responding to anyway, said “And what makes you think she isn't perfectly aware of her own proportions?” I said I don’t think she was. Now you’re changing your entire argument.

This hem has been (badly) altered. It looks like someone tried to hem at a point where there's too much taper in the leg (and keep the excess fabric, looks like the catch stitching is 3" above the fold). Forcing the hem causes the fold to pucker. That or she just cuffed them to the inside???

Sweet lord. That hem.

I am the OP and this is the first time in 4600+ posts that I have actually cringed and felt embarrassed for her. Those pants are BAD.

My grandma would colloquially refer to one’s anus as a “pucker string.”

And all I can see is a pucker string on those hems.

Oof, those straight on shots really drive home just how bad the fifth-rate alterations are.
Anonymous
I like the color even better in the straight on shot, though. The belt with the jacket is also mystifying. So much better if it only has one.
