Nah, I actually think this is Harry’s plan. He’s long wanted out. His brother has three kids now and doesn’t need a spare. Hopefully, Charlotte and Louis will have an easier time forging their own lives after George has an heir.

I think Harry married Meghan as a way to get out. He couldn't figure out how to get out on his own. He needed someone else to figure it out. And she did it (purposefully or by accident) for maximum messiness.

Anyone loving all the symbolism and imagry on the IGs. There is that beautiful photo of Harry and Archie looking free and natural across the pond away from the oppression of the royal family. The water symbolizes how far away and free they are. Then we have Kate and William posting a charming video with waving political flags to say "we still love you England. We Brits are classy and love our motherland."

I think it is both. She got her freedom, almost everything she wanted and won short term. While there is still interest she can hobnob with celebrities , be loud and "woke", go to.the Oscar's and have celebrities fall over themselves for her and live the high life on yachts with billionaires with no reprecussions.

But the public is fascination with them was their royalty and they are not that any more.

The long term implications are that there will be far less intrigue and interest surrounding them in the next 5 to 10 years. They were called the"young royals" but truth is are already late 30's and their time as "influencers" with the younger generation has a seriously short shelf life. Once they hit mid to late forties the shine will be off.

I haven't read this whole thread. She gave up a lot, which you should never do for a man--her country, her job, being near family and friends. Now he's given up his family, his job, his friends, his country. At least she chose Canada (a more neutral territory) and not LA. I bet she'll pop out another baby but soon enough they will look at each other like what was I thinking. He'll probably have an affair while she's stuck raising their babies. The whole Royal Sussex or is it Sussex Royal "brand" is pretty tacky. They will both be doing voiceover jobs while stuck in a mansion. If they do stay together, it will be because she in essence has freed him from being enslaved by royalty. I don't think Harry likes being stuck in a fish bowl. Meghan is his escape.

Agree. Harry and Meghan's friend Bradby announcing the tell all interview if H and M didn't get their way was straight up blackmail.. The Queen did what she could to save face but Harry and Meghan won.
