Been a while since we had one of these. What have you been loving lately from Trader Joe's? Any new products you suggest trying?
Making a trip to TJs tomorrow, and looking to try some new things other than my usual haul... [PS: my bet is the "ugh TJs is so unhealthy and everything is moldy and they suck" poster makes an entrance before we reach Page 2 - maybe we can ignore them? ]

| I adore Just Mangos. And TJs Greek yogurt. |
| I am sure crazy "TJ is 7-11!" lady will chime in momentarily - by the way, nutter butter, they have plenty of processed crap at Whole Foods and Harris Teeter - but until then, I have been loving the Rustic Flatbreads - the crust is in the bread section, and it is great for a quick dinner with their burrata, olive oil and basil - and the Tunisian preserved lemons in soup, stews, cocktails and sauces. SO good. I also love the quinoa/brown rice pasta, and my kids will eat it too, which is awesome. The truffle macrona almonds are really, really good. The tamales are also really good and my kids love them. The genesis wine blend is the best under $20 wine I have ever had and its $12 but sells out super fast. Oh - they have shisito peppers now, which you quickly pan fry in sesame oil and dip in soy sauce and are sooooooo yummy. |
| Thanks for the wine tip! |
| I like their white Bordeaux |
| The new kale, sweet potato, and butternut squash pizza is really good. |
| Their handmade flour tortillas are really good. |

I have some shishito peppers from there in my fridge. Need to try with sesame oil, I was underwhelmed when I first made them. I was intrigued by the preserved lemons but didn't know what to do with them!
Lately I am loving the spicy Italian chicken sausages. I've been doing whole30 (on round 2!) and they're compliant and I far prefer them to the Aidells chicken and apple sausages most whole30ers eat. |
Try them with the sesame oil, so good! I like the preserved lemons in Greek lemon and chicken soup. Also, try in a martini! |
There is one in my freezer waiting to be tried. Glad to hear a good review! |
sitting in my freezer right now! Just had leftover TJ orange chicken- did not enjoy it as much as last night =(. Also, I recently discovered their roasted brussel sprouts (near beets/lentils in the fridge produce area.)...They were good... |

I have a box of Peppermint Joe Joes stashed away in the extra fridge. Just want to taunt you all with that while you eat your thin mints.
I'm looking forward to stocking up on some mixes next trip--cinnamon quick bread and the brownie mix. I also love their OJ and european style yogurt. I love threads like this because there are always new discoveries at TJs and sometimes the place is so clogged you can't really wander in a daze like you can at target...

It's seriously delicious. Not as some kind of "healthier alternative" pizza, but for its own merit. Yummmmm |
| They have their own version of Milano cookies! |
