Berries go bad very quickly, in general. It doesn't matter if I buy them from TJs, Giant, Harris Teeter, Safeway, or Wegmans - the berries always go bad quickly.

I've never really had issues with other produce at TJs. They're my main grocery store, and I cook regularly. Occasionally I might get something bad, but that's par the course for anywhere.

For whatever reason I think it varies by location. I, too, have noticed that lots of TJ's produce goes bad very quickly, far faster than it does from Safeway or Whole Foods (my regular haunts). Not all of it - but berries and other fruit, lettuce - I get about a day.

Why'd you have to say this? Got home with it and ended up eating it for lunch with the sweet potato ridged chips. Ridiculous.

I'm looking forward to stocking up on some mixes next trip--cinnamon quick bread and the brownie mix. I also love their OJ and european style yogurt.

I love threads like this because there are always new discoveries at TJs and sometimes the place is so clogged you can't really wander in a daze like you can at target...

Yes!

And it has a higher calcium content for those of us needing more calcium who don't drink milk.

I read this so wrong. So very wrong.

Latest discovery at TJ's has been the roasted coconut chips. So crunchy and tasty.

The dehydrated fruit. So good! Only about 150 calories a bag. I love the raspberry and mango ones.

These are new and so ridiculously good! They are like Milanos to a higher power. So glad I sampled these recently - or maybe I am not so glad.

Oooh, tell us more. I dream of quitting my job and working here. I'm sure there are a fair share of annoyance with obnoxious customers, but I love TJs and the employees always seem so happy. Does he enjoy it? What's it really like?

My first two trips to tjs, months apart, I got moldy yogurt and moldy cheese. They clearly have storage issues.
