Ok, fine then. Private school it is! |
This is perfect for younger players that arent big enough to play on the A team yet. |
Great go, nobody is stopping you. If youre looking to cheat by playing down against youger players private school is setup for this. |
Not when they can fit even better on the A team in their AGE group! Those youngers would get lost on those B teams and little playing time. |
As long as its within the rules, it's not cheating.
|
Fine, go play at a private school. Stop wasting all the club parents and players time. |
Being on the 2nd team compared to the 1st team when starting out can be a demovitvator. Kids on top teams getting praise can have a synergistic effect and they want to do side work also. |
Are you kidding me. You think a player will be lost on a B team thats their grade in school but able to contribute on an A team a grade younger. Ridiculuous. Youre just saying dumb things to say them now. |
Nobody cares about your "demotivator" nonsense. Play on the B team and get better or dont. |
Better to be on 1st team. |
That is why some players choose to bioband to play down in a younger age group just to stay in the A team. |
| PPs are correct. DC is B team. I wish I had known 5 years ago what a disservice this does to a kid who really loves the sport. Other players are not as committed, practice and game intensity is not high, coaches not great. Some actually harmful. And too late to make up the gaps by HS. It's sad. My kid was very late in growth and strength development and if we had had biobanding, it sure would have helped. Doesn't exist for girls. |

Can someone copy and post the wording from the MLS email/image here? I can’t click on it to read.
Thanks |

As part of our ongoing evaluation and alignment with national platforms and leagues:
ALBION Boys will transition to school year registration (August 1 - July 31) in alignment with MLS NEXT AD, Elite Academy, and SOCAL League. ALBION Girls will transition to school year registration (August 1 - July 31) in alignment with the Girls Academy and girls' development leagues. At ALBION our goal is simple: All players to be challenged, supported, and given opportunities they need to maximize growth. This includes training and playing games with multiple teams and age groups to accelerate development within the ALBION pathway. |
| Thanks! I’m sure the crazies are saying this is fake, but what are the majority/realistic people saying? |
