Yeah what are the capacity restrictions there? We went to a Nats game last weekend and everyone was pretty spread out. Unless the Mets/Yankees are looking to pack more people in, having vaccinated/unvaccinated sections make zero sense for an event that is outdoors with adequate social distancing and masks required. Are they going to have separate bathrooms too?

We that’s the point- they want to increase capacity in the vaccinated section. Good question about the bathrooms though. I guess they don’t want kids there either, because what vaccinated parents will go sit amongst the anti-vax trumpers?

Fans at Yankees and Mets games who show proof of vaccination can sit in the vax section to capacity. That means shoulder to shoulder with others who showed proof of vaccination with a vaccine known to not be 100% effective. Okay. So let's say I choose to remain unvaccinated? I have not caught Covid so far (well maybe back when Pelosi was saying there was no risk back in Feb 2020) and have been all over, shopping, living my life. Even celebrated with family Fourth of July last summer. I'm not a traveller and welcome not having to go see family on the other side of the country - frankly I need a break anyway.
