How will anti-vaxxers lives be limited?

Basically, you need to show that you have been vaccinated (and there records are centralized so there is little to no fear of people just lying or getting a fake vaccine card) to get into all sorts of places. But, because of these rules, a lot of life has gone back to pretty close to normal.

We do have centralized vaccine records, maintained on each state's existing immunization information system.

I don't get why these posts are allowed but ones expressing concern or talking about the issues surrounding taking the vaccine are not?

Calling people anti-vaccine for not line jumping and rushing to take the vaccine is absurd. Most people were not eligible to get the vaccine except a week ago or so and any decent person would not be a line jumper and wait their turn. Likewise, its still hard to get local appointments in less you want to travel and many people cannot travel for a variety of reasons. Instead of bashing others, why not offer to help drive them and take care of them and their families if they get sick/reaction for a few days?

How would we realistically set up and pay for a system to enforce this?

I’m not anti vaccine but I see no incentive right now. Nothing has changed for the vaccinated and nothing will (in the DMV) for the next several months. I do not care about seeing live concerts. Or the NFL draft. And they are still wearing masks!

I’d like to know where it’s still difficult to find a vaccine.

You really need to give up this line of argument when there are signs outside the CVS in Farragut Square offering vaccines to walk-ins with no appointments. And yes, I have driven four different people to get vaccines.

If colleges are going to be able to discriminate against people for their medical history, then that is opening a whole big can of worms (and a lot of lawsuits).

That's not discriminating just on the grounds of a medical history; it's discriminating on grounds of a public health emergency.

PS: But please, PP, feel free to be the first one to sue. Have at it.

Yes it’s not like there’s any legal precedent for requiring vaccinations in schools. Wait...

Idiot.

I'm waiting for Novavax, and if they delay its authorization, I'll take one of the mRNA vaccines. Until then, I can hunker down, especially as I have tweens who cannot be vaccinated. We're not going anywhere, and we're not seeing anyone in person just yet.

And there will just be a new group of colleges created for conservatives that don't want the government to be able to force them to inject things into their bodies.

And those colleges might just choose to exclude other groups like ADHD, autism, behavioral disorders based on medical histories.

I don't think the country wants to head in this direction.

With 70%+ of people choosing to get their vaccinations by choice and/or having had the real virus, there is no public health emergency.

Stop being ridiculous.

Choosing not to meet the entrance requirements (like getting a meningitis vaccine , a TB test, or a covid vaccine) is not the same as being autistic. If you don’t understand the difference then I’m not sure anyone here can help you.
