This 100 percent. Have seen so much of this behavior from the Md parent sidelines. Support your kid. Be happy for others. Dispense with the high school nonsense. |

We should all wish great success for every kid who plays this sport. Those who think their kids or clubs are better should be careful how far they pump their chest. Those with big egos in this sport often have inflated expectations for their player’s college prospects. And those aspirations frequently don’t work out. Thankfully they did for our daughter who committed to her first choice and it’s been a great experience. But we know plenty of families where this didn’t happen. Lots of tears and tough dinner table discussions take place in those situations where the kids feel they let their parents down.
There are so many stories of kids on MD clubs who go to low ranked D1 schools who thought that just being on a top 10 team was their ticket to a top 20 D1 program. Many went on to have great experiences. But the example parents set on the field and at home can play a huge role in how their kid’s college recruiting experience plays out. Just be happy and supportive of your kids and those on other teams who will be going through the same process. |
Who do you think is reading this? Sounds like this forum would be better if you took your own advice... |
| Nest level parents are the worst... |
Ok, was being generous, seem more like 5'3. make sure you reach over and tuck that fupa back in. |
I have read this several times and still have no idea what it means. Riding up DMV Dads not doing or saying anything on the lax field just like their t-shirts? So weird. Some alcohol definitely preceded that post. |

| Why would you think next level parents are the worst? Seem no different than any other team’s parent cohort. |
You clearly have never played Renegades then. |
To be fair, I think it read “Nest Level.” |
| Are there any remaining girls on NL ‘28 who could make an elite MD team? Have any girls departed? |
Why do you care? |
The answer is: no. B League talent. Period. |
| Is it true NL 2028s picked up some Stars girls? I read where some went to some of the other higher ranked MD teams but was wondering if NL got some too. |
If any Stars players left for NL, they weren't starters or contributors. |
