You call tell just by the folks stating they are bailing this season or concerned with the pandemic. They better up their social media game, hand out flyers and look to get rec players to invest. I wish them luck, they have been good until now.

We left this past season, and I must say we did make the right choice; several friends stayed who did stay have told me they will be leaving this year or not come back. It could be worse, but the point is LMVSC was one of the best and with the amount of players and coaches that left, it's just not rebuilt overnight.

Wish I had the foresight to have left last year. I agree they were one of the best but I think it will go down before it goes up.

Thanks Este

This is exactly what I'm talking about. 'Directors' and coaches spend more time on here that responding to questions at the townhall. Hey guy, guess what? Since I'm technically still part of the club, guess what: I agree we were one of the best but I think it will go down before it goes up. Maybe next time you actually meet our needs first.

to the PP, +1000 but don't expect much from lmvsc, i asked twice during townhall about the HS ages since the academy didn't apply to us and i've still received no answer. apparently they've got time to still come here and blame este, but no time for anything else

Was the Town hall recorded, we are interested in the club and would like to watch

If you're looking for competitive soccer, depending on your location, I would look at SYC, Alexandria or Arlington first...

Not worth it for $1,7000 per year!

17000??

Every 03 red team player is gone, and now several of the best 04s (one team) are leaving (who didn’t have a CCL win this year). I don’t know what happened with 05 red team, but they went from ranked top 5 in GotSoccer down to 40; LB is white team coach so yeah. There is no 06 team. The one 07 team played in NCSL. There were only twelve 08 girls, and they’ll be 11v11 this year.

For the boys, I wouldn’t be too surprised if it’s the same. But the 02, 03, 04 (once team not in CCL), 05, and 06 teams are shadows of what they were. This academy won’t help. Stop blaming Este, stop talking about Syc. My advice: leave CCL, focus on developing players in an appropriate level of NCSL. It’ll cheapen the costs for players, and they’ll be able to compete.

To the Lmvsc staff that responds, I’ll be responding to you. To any parents that think I’m being too harsh and show no faith, I don’t because the organization has proven to me what they are: in it for the money. Which is why they are afraid to leave CCL (and I do think of they stay in, this will be their last season).

My “wow” reaction was the state of the girls side. I didn’t realize it was so off. 2003 girls were in National League just two years ago.

Did the 2003 girls move to SYC with their coach? If so, that would explain a lot.

No. JN took over and lost half of the team. Rest are leaving this season.

Wow, that’s unfortunate. Where did “half the team” go last year? And where are the remaining going now?

Other clubs that give them a better platform, and care more about their future

Same on the boys side. Red boy 03, 04, 05 and 09 completely gone. Still top in VA rankings. 06,07,08 boys top players gone. New red teams did very poorly in CCL, see rankings.

somebody also already posted rankings, and I believe league W/L record. turns out following teams weren’t in CCL: 04 boys, 07 girls, 08 girls (they played middle tier divisions of NCSL and did about .500
