No. And she's not "doing" the shaky voice. She "has" a shaky voice. It happens to me when I'm nervous. Pausing won't control it, unless the pause is 10 minutes.

Yup. That's exactly what happens to me when I'm really nervous (or angry) also. I'm not sad, I won't cry. But my voice will get shaky and occasionally crack. Sometimes I can stop and take some big deep breaths and collect my voice, but the reset doesn't always work. my guess is that's why she asked for caffeine. Something other than water down her throat to refocus.
