That bet has paid off so far, but Democrats aren't necessarily out of the running down ballot. The Senate map doesn't look good, so Trump will get his judges.

There is no clean ending here. Biden's debate performance and subsequent gaffes - introducing the President of Ukraine as Putin; forgetting the SecDef's name and referring to him as "the black man," and so on - means there is no uniting the Democratic Party around Biden. A solid 65 percent of Democrats want Biden to drop out. Donors have abandoned not just Biden but the entire Party. And there is no consensus around a replacement candidate. Some of the bigger names have already said they want nothing to do with this mess.

The sh*tshow will continue all the way to the convention - more than a month away. And even then, no matter what is decided, half of all Democrats are going to be deeply pissed off.

Halperin is not left. He’s never been left. He wrote books with John Heileman but Halperin did all the all the reporting on the Republicans. He was credibly accused of a dozen different disgusting things by coworkers and now only NewsMax - also not left - will employ him.
