Interesting point, but now I am confused. For club lacrosse starting in MS I thought it was about the best place for my DD to grow as a lax player not what “team” is good at any given moment b/c that could change. My DD had a great time doing the player development program this spring. MC Elite has been at SR fields for years so that is a good sign, must be a good customer. Perfect location for us and HS and college athletes success seems good. Looking forward to tryouts. |
I would really read through this thread hard the complaints you will read are not from one age group or one parent this club currently is toxic. Please don’t drink the we have the best coaches crap either the coaching is sub par when they show up. Look at the website look at the coaches and see how many of the coaches are former HS coaches and very short tenures for a few only a season or two. |
A bunch of us who left are SR parents. As far as know all SR girls who left 2030 Midnight team are either BLC or new Yellow Jackets. Do not expect you will see strong showing of talented SR players at MC Elite. |
HS coaches come and go, that does not bother us. We are new to the area and lax. I am going to talk to actual people now. |
Ask yourself why these coaches on lasted 1-2 years at the hs level it has to do with player treatment. Yet MCE believes it acceptable and even not mal to berate and curse out girls to blame them for losses when coaches show up half the time. My DD was there 3 years and had 4 different coaches awful but if you choose MCE don’t t say you were not warned. |
What was Charlotte North's grade school club record? Oh right, she didn't start playing club until after 8th grade. |
Club lacrosse is definitely not cheap but it feels like many of the programs are pretty comparable pricewise. With lacrosse now being a year-round sport, how much would the expense generally work out to per-hour given all the practices, games, and tournaments? |
Really you want to try and compare the girls at MCE to a once-in-a-generation talent who changed the game? |
And the lack of consistent coaching showing up ruined this they are all gone now to YJ... |
Last year the 2030 Midnight we’re playing in the NGLL A championship tournament and now they’re mostly Yellow Jackets so this checks out |
this! some parents just don't get it |
this is 10000% false - if so when was the last time you played Hero's, M&D or Skywalkers? Let along Aces or Jesters etc. |
Don’t get what that it’s better to be like BLC play in the top brackets and play competitive against top ranked teams and go 0-4. Or are you saying being like MCE and telling parents you’re playing in top brackets and you go 0-4 and most games are not even close and in reality you’re actually playing in the bottom 3-4 brackets? |
Did you not read the other post from an MCE parent apparently they asked to play down because they wanted to play different teams Rolf. |
This type of response is what confuses people new to club lacrosse and stirs the part. The 24s played the Balto teams all throughout MS which is the point of the NGLL. The point of development and tournaments in HS is to not just play them. Monsters, CT Grizzlies, STEPS, Team180, MDUnited. Do u have time to analyze the 24a schedule for the last 2 years? Every game counts, please stop the tearing down and lies. |
