Why, one almost gets the feeling the US is itching for Putin to invade and will be disappointed if he doesn’t. |
I can't speak for other Americans, but I will feel relieved if he doesn't invade. No disappointment at all. |
Biden government depends on this. They need a war very fast! |
Well the commentariat needs their paychecks and they want to be right once in a while. |
In the meantime, Liz Truss embarrassed herself when she claimed the UK will never recognize that some regions that are in fact part of Russian are a part of Russia. Blamed it on interpreters later. One almost longs for the time when the British diplomats had actual knowledge of the countries where they worked. |
Maybe a little reverse psychology - giving Putin a chance to look like a reasonable guy while the US looks foolish? They've tried everything else to keep Putin from doing it. |
I really don't understand this line of thinking. To distract? Could you please explain how this will help? I am honestly trying to gain perspective. |
I’m looking forward to Putin starting a war that Biden will then crush him with. And when orange fatso’s puppet master Putin gets his ass kicked by Joe, he won’t have the influence and resources to help him steal the election again. So yes, I’m looking very much forward for this war to start so Putin can get defeated. |
Wag the dog? |
Putin already won. Stupid Biden is what he need it. |
How many men in your family will go? |
I hope American citizens get out. Biden has proven that he will, indeed, leave US citizens behind. |
Our Russian friends are just taunting us and tryig to flip the blame. Both NATO and Ukraine have been quite clear. Neither will preemptively attack. Both want peace but will defend if they are attacked. The choice is entitely Putin's. Even the everyday normal Russian people, that will bear the brunt of the consequences, don't want a war. There is nothing any of us can do. The choice is with old vlad the babushka that thinks he's baba yaga. |
They've been telling Americans to leave for a month. Thought you guys were the party of personal responsibility? |
If you think that we’re getting into a shooting war with Russia over Ukraine you aren’t thinking clearly. And if you think sanctions and economic warfare will work, good luck. |
