Sorry Buddy I let my doggie poop wherever he wants afterall it's mulch for the soil.
who cares this is a free world, get a life!!!!!! |
Exhibit A: bad dog owner. |
| Poop in mail slot poster here with another dog poop story. Years ago my friend and her husband were annoyed with a neighbor who let their dog poop on my friend's lawn. Friends became obsessed with catching the dog in the act. They finally did and proceeded to take their toddler's soiled diaper and place it face down on the hood of the offending neighbor's Jaguar. If I can think of anymore incidents, I'll post again. |
I'm reading your post in the naughtiest way possible. I am so immature. |
PP, I think this one wins the award. |
You must be the boss who wears the same outfit all week long. |
It's landscaping she presumably paid for and maintains, and is on her own property. What makes you think it's okay to let your dog wander onto her property to urinate? |
I would like to believe it too, but come and visit Georgetown any day and you will be convinced that there are a LOT of horrible dog owners around. I really don't understand how you could be so inconsiderate to walk around with your dog(s) off leash on narrow historical city sidewalks that are teeming with old people and toddlers. And as for the dog poop issue, it's just disgusting and prevalent. Like in every tree box once a week at least - on nearly every sidewalk too. |
Well, let me tell you this. Believe it or not, I am someone who ALWAYS picks up my dog's poop and my dog is never allowed off-leash unless in a dog-park or our (fenced) back yard. I've had it, however, with people hovering over me and telling me to pick up my dog's poop. Next person who provides unsolicited guidance on me picking up my dog poop as I'm bending down to get it is going to get hit with a bag of hot dog poop. You know, just so you remember that I was already going to do it before you provided your oh-so-helpful guidance? How 'bout that?

11:09, perhaps your anger should be directed at the dog owners who have consistently NOT picked up after their dogs, creating this angst among others about it.
As to everyone else - is letting your dog urinate/defecate on someone else's lawn something you'd ask the property owner's permission to do? If you wouldn't feel comfortable asking, "Do you mind if I let Fido come onto your property and pee on your bush?" or, "Do you mind if I let Fido come onto your property to poop? I'll clean it up and get *most* of it up, promise," then you shouldn't do it. I bet most dog owners feel at least a little uncomfortable if their dog is taking a shit on someone's lawn, and the owner comes home or walks outside. There's a reason for that - you shouldn't do it. One of the reasons I *don't* have a dog right now is because I don't want to deal with dog waste and remnants of it, in my yard, where I want my baby and toddler to be able to roam. Why should it then be okay for *your* dog to use my yard as a bathroom, then? A yard I work hard, and spend money on, to keep in good condition for my kids? I'd love to hear some specific answers to my questions. Maybe I'm missing something. |
| If my dog poops in my yard, then I pick it up eventually, but if I'm taking her for a walk or to the dog park, I keep tons of those little poop baggies with me! I hate having to dodge dog poop on walks! I also hate those stupid cats that think that a sandbox is a litter box! I swear, you leave the cover off even just a couple times and those stinkin' cats poop in the sand! I am also irked when people in my neighborhood take their dogs for a walk and don't pick up their poop! I have caught my douchebag neighbor 2 times now letting his dog crap in my yard!!! I think if I catch him again, maybe I will bag up the excrement, set it on fire and ring his doorbell! |
| This post just illustrates how many dog owners don't pick up after their dogs. I live in Dupont and someone repeatedly lets their dog poop in our tree box and never picks it up. This infuriates me to no end. One time I happen to catch a dog walker walking away from a pile of dog poo in our tree box. I asked her nicely to pick it up and she gave me the finger! I chased her (7 months pregnant) around the block and took a picture of her and told her that she better not walk down my street again with her dog because I was posting a photo of her and her dog around the neighborhood. I've not seen her again. It's shameless. |
Free world, yes, excellent. I'll feel free to pee on your leg or poop on your car should we ever meet. |

@17:07, maybe we should all send our dogs over to drop deuces all over your lawn. That will do wonders for your lawn. That can the mulch for YOUR soil! What is wrong with you???

I'm 11:22 and am not surprised to check back and find no answers to the questions I posed.
Anyone? |
