Why aren't we talking about Novak Djokovic

Stars like him get breaks for extremely unprofessional and intimidating behavior because they are the money makers. It’s time for stiff penalties.

Um...Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal would like a word....

Actually Serena would like a word....

What for? Djokovic has already achieved things neither of them could or ever will. And he still has a couple of good years still left in him.

The questions should be, why were you most talking and posting about his amazing achievements this year? Instead, you focus on the negative only?
He is right not the GOAT of tennis, undisputed, and likely the best ever.
I ask you honestly, what do you have against him? Why do you dislike him?

Well, Djokovic is treated like trash the whole time, so Serena must be treated worse?
You have the whole audience at Wimbledon cheer for a nobody rather than for the GOAT. Why?

I absolutely agree with that! He had a hissy fit worthy of well, I don't know, my teens on a very bad day?

Also no one cares about Olympic tennis to begin with- many top players didn’t bother traveling for it. Total jerky move by him though- no one was forcing him to play mixed doubles but once he commuted he should have seen it through.

No, guys! It can’t possibly be that no one is talking about it because no one even knows about it because no one gives a shit about Olympic tennis, particularly a non-American competing in DOUBLES! It MUST be racism/sexism!!!

He was playing in the bronze medal singles match when he melted down and threw his racquet into the stands. Novak is coming off of two major championships, is one of the greatest players of all time, and is very famous, even among Americans. The point is that his bad behavior does not seem to tarnish his athletic accomplishments in the eyes of the public.

But, the stands were empty! This time.

He’s coming off of 3 major championships not 2. He’s a phenomenal athlete and also an a$$. I watch a lot of tennis and can’t stand him.

Why can't you stand him? Who are your favorite tennis players and why?

If he's the goat, where's his Golden slam?

Remember when he had that covid tennis tournament and earned the nickname "Novax Djocovid"?
I really want to like him because he's an amazing tennis player, but his character is lacking.

Well, how could he put on a tennis tournament? If I recall, in Croatia? Did he not just suggest it?

Serena is definitely the greatest woman tennis champ. Rafa is my favorite male player, but I think Federer is the goat for men's tennis. If you are comparing men and women, Steffi Graf, with her Golden Slam should rank high in the contest for GOAT.

The classless person was Steffi Graf who quit as McEnroe's partner when they reached the finals of mixed doubles so she could focus on singles, which she lost.

I saw McEnroe playing Borg in a seniors league, and he was again arguing with the refs. He wasn't really upset, just putting on a show for the crowd.

I saw him also and he wasn't putting on a show. McEnroe and his idiot brother ruined tennis in the US in a lot of ways. They are elitist, bigoted and have made remarks about black players that were beyond cringey.

What Patrick McEnroe did to Taylor Townsend is abhorrent.

Taylor should have listened, could have reached much better than 60th in rankings. Her arrogance was her downfall. Athletes cannot be that overweight and want USTA to invest in them.

Hitting a lineswoman in the throat with a ball and getting defaulted is a sign of strength? Angrily throwing your racquet into the stadium and then subsequently smashing another racquet into the net post is a sign of confidence? Hosting a tennis tournament in the middle of a pandemic with no precautions causing participants and spectators to catch and spread covid is a sign of what? I could go on but I’ll stop.

Djoker is an a$$hole.

WHy do you feel that? Can you articulate your hate for him?

This is so true. He's been an ass this whole time and there were lots of questions about how he got to the level he did when he did. He had some magic ability to not break down after lots of matches when before he was ridiculed for always backing out of matches. He is untrustworthy and fake.

Do you think that him being a Serb has something to do with your dislike of him?

Deposit your BLM tears there

The world treats him abhorenlty. If you wanted tennis you would know this. Just look at this thread. I am curious as to why do you all think he is not worthy of admiration, or even of consideration, given that he is the best tennis player of all time.
