Do you need help adequately understanding the law? Running out on a bill, spewing racial slurs, and assaulting someone are very serious crimes. Plenty of criminals have mental issues- the law does not really care providing they can tell the difference between wrong/right, which even the most incapacitated can. Something as minor as autism would certainly not exempt someone from being capable of understanding basic laws like theft and assault.

There's just no evidence of racial slurs or assault. Seems awfully convenient that one small portion of the interaction was recorded.

There are witness accounts saying he did. Regardless, even throwing those out, theft is a serious crime regardless. And "autism" isn't an excuse.

One small portion has been released. You don’t know what the full content of the video is. Furthermore, for hundreds of years prior to cellphones assaults were successfully prosecuted based on victim and witness testimony alone.
