The average Take Back Alexandrian is not exactly hurting financially. It's rich to tar Wilson supporters with smears like "liberal elitist". And then act APPALLED at any pushback. |
What is "the average Take Back Alexandrian"? |
Bump. Anyone watch the debate? What did you think?
I honestly don't know who to vote for at this point. I know that Wilson definitely has made errors, but I hope the backlash he has gotten is enough to get him to re-focus on what residents *really* need. I just don't feel any enthusiasm for Silberberg. I feel skeptical that she will be swift with action, despite high hopes. Regarding flooding and climate change - who do you think has the right productive, realistic, proactive vision? We live in Del Ray (but not for very long) and while we have yet to experience flooding, many around us have and it's nerve-racking. |
How cute that you think a mayor can do anything about climate change. Bless your woke little heart. |
+1 truly awful |
I’d say anyone but silberberg. People are forgetting how disorganized and horrific she was. No true opinions of her own and no leadership. Watch an old council hearing |
Hey condescending dipshit, obviously a mayor can't fix climate change - but helping to really fix flooding issues *because* of climate change that many residents are experience is certainly within a mayor's realm of action. |
Hi Justin supporter! Why didn't he clean Hoofs run for the last three years? |
Not a Justin supporter - as I mentioned, I don't really know whom to vote for, for mayor - how about you stop being a condescending ahole and actually provide information to my question? Share what you know about Wilson, Hoof's Run, and water/drainage issues. I don't know what the hell is wrong with you, but I'm literally asking for information and you're disparaging people without actually providing anything of substance. |
What part of he "didn't clean Hoof's Run for 3 years" are you having trouble understanding? Is it the contraction? I bet it's the contraction! |
Yep, they are both bad choices. Wilson is obsessed with the idea that Alexandria is going to be some bike-able City which is not going to happen. Every time they talk about it I think "Fetch isn't going to happen" ![]() |
Wilson is obsessed with a national platform, but theres no way he can cut it. The big boys will eat him alive. He reminds me of the kid that can't make the basketball team so he becomes the manager. Such a wannabee. |
Wow, you're doing a great job of convincing people to vote for Wilson with your attitude and responses. I mean that--sincerely. |
Yeah. People are going to forget the thousands and thousands of dollars they spent repairing their houses after flooding caused by Wilson's dereliction of duty all because you argued with someone on the internet. Talk about delusional. |
The only time I ever dealt with Silberberg was a few years back when there was a shooting in NE Old Town. I guess some young dude died right behind his house. Anyways, the community had some sort of badly-planned town hall at the Houston Rec Center, which went of the rails within about nine minutes. Silberberg was there and she looked like a deer in the headlights. She looked spaced out...
These two are the best that Alexandria can do? If so, we are screwed. |
