You can't force people to compromise the most important and essential parts of themselves and the people most important to them.

That's just men, in time of need or people who WILLING go.

And we always screw over the poor, why is this surprising?

Um, I am female and did several years in the Air Force because I had no other viable option after my mom said she wanted me to leave the house. Surprisingly, young people from the south with zero family money or support do not have an abundance of options. You are an idiot if you think most people in the military at the enlisted levels are "willing" to be there in the true sense.

They want to take “strong collective action” if negotiations aren’t successful. I don’t know the exact number but a majority apparently voted in favor of the sick out. From hearsay it sounds like it could be more than one day if not effective.

I’ve taught at several high schools and the Army recruiters only came to the ones with high FARMS to get the seniors turning 18 to enlist. ‘Willing’ is an inaccurate term for this situation.

Not sure. Work stoppage is illegal, but we are entitled to take our sick leave so I’m not sure calling out sick would count.
