Then go away. Honestly, this isn't your thread.

Social Influencers are paid PR/Marketing people working independently, like a contractor for multiple companies. Some are paid in product and samples, others are paid monetarily. It's a a legitimate way for companies to have paid advertisements that look like every day people using and promoting their products. It's way more involved than bragging mothers. Some cook, some sing, some do hair, they all kind of have a speciality of sorts. It's more than your next door neighbor's mommy blog from 2010.

It is way more, and a real way children get exploited for monetary gain. It may be legal but it’s not legitimate.

More social media influencers who declare their love for their significant other online may be imploding...

I hate to add Jen Hatmaker to the list because I like her support of her daughter and she can seem down to earth, but something is going on with that marriage. Lots of drama on her IG, no mention of him and his IG is radio silent.

Jillian Harris canceled her backyard wedding to her fiance and father of her 2 adorable kids, even though they are still together, and have hosted or attended celebrations with friends and family this summer without masks or social distancing.

Hollis passive-aggressive drama continues, but Rachel now admits she asked for the divorce.

Courtney Shields announced her divorce.

The WORST! I won’t mind at all when her anorexic ass disappears off IG.

Agreed. There is something deeper going on as well with the constant need fo crank out babies. I thought they had announced the new baby was a boy but maybe I’m making that up because the others are. I also think there is no way she can have undergone any part of the needed grieving process for Crew before immediately getting pregnant again. I worry about her long term mental health.

The nee baby is definitely a boy and she’s now endorsing all sorts of products named after the son who died at Christmas. Very sad. I can’t even begin to imagine what it takes to profit from your child that died not even a year ago.

Those pics of her holding his dead body were really out there and way too much. Approaching disrespectful and something to definitely keep private.

"Social influencer" and "charlatan" is redundant, OP

Any update about the mom who broke nyc lockdown to move to Florida b/c she would “save a life” by doing so?

Considering how incompetent the FL governor is compared to NY’s.

Which one...It seemed like all of wealthy NYC either left for the Hamptons, Fla or if you are Taza...Arizona!

There are 1000s of girls in my daughter's instagram who I've never heard of who appear to do nothing all day, yet live like idle rich millionaires. It never made sense to me. It seems like a fake career. Like unemployed people calling themselves "freelancers" or "independent consultant" ... these bimbos are pretending to be employed as "influencers"?

There is speculation that many of them are "yacht girls," which is a euphemism for an extremely high-priced sex worker.

Although, many people will swear up and down that the Kardashians and the Hadids, to name a few, are also available for the right price.

I heard Farrah Abraham is a yacht girl too, of Teen Mom fame. But allegedly not only is she a Yacht Girl but she brings her daughter WITH HER.

That one is super believable. Would be surprised if she weren't.

I've wondered how she can afford Beverly Hills.
