| OMG the bucket list family. Can not stand them. Are they divorcing yet? |
They have started to become preachy and it is annoying along with the product pitching and commercials. I used to love their videos but no more. Sigh.. |
Yes, I think he "got a job" with Amber and David Fillerup of Barefoot Blonde doing....???? But let's get real, that is smoke and mirrors. Their money making scheme is raising their "5 little New Yorkers!" I think they're toast. On the flip side, she seemed constantly stressed raising those kids in a very small space for awhile and still not great even after their move. I think they'll have a much better lifestyle outside of Manhattan with space for 5 kids. But yeah, their brand has been sinking for awhile and she can only push out these content babies for so long. It's been awhile since they were "aspirational." They were cute and aspirational when they were in DC with one kid and a dog. More and more kids in a tiny space, Josh quitting his job (no longer the "my husband works so hard!") to work on the blog exclusively and it's a full on business. When shit hit the fan they were out and I can't see a return. They're any other suburban Mormon family in a cul de sac with 5 kids. Yawn. |
She's always been horrible and her disgusting husband ("Greasy!") is even worse, but supposedly testing positive for Covid and bringing it out to the Hamptons was low. Really low. I don't know how you PR rehab from her stunts. |
| Most “influencers” on Instagram never had any real job with any skills. But I’m not qualified in a way to judge as I’ve never followed one or been interested in their BS. I like real people with real lives, that that don’t selfie or video themselves all day. |
| I’ll also add Brittani Boren to this list. Terrible DIY skills and all around basic. Feel bad for her because she lost her baby but have never thought she was very good at her “job”. Fully expect some serious disappointment if the current baby is another boy. |
| Why do people enjor the pain of others? Sick dcun |
Np Doubt he wrote anything, pp. You can't remember what you didn't do! |
And then how he came after people who were negatively commenting. Telling one woman that she went to a safety school- how disgusting. |
Agreed. There is something deeper going on as well with the constant need fo crank out babies. I thought they had announced the new baby was a boy but maybe I’m making that up because the others are. I also think there is no way she can have undergone any part of the needed grieving process for Crew before immediately getting pregnant again. I worry about her long term mental health. |
| I have no idea who any of these people are. Are most just mothers who brag about their perfect life on instagram? Do they actually do anything like give cooking hacks etc? |
Then go away. Honestly, this isn't your thread. Social Influencers are paid PR/Marketing people working independently, like a contractor for multiple companies. Some are paid in product and samples, others are paid monetarily. It's a a legitimate way for companies to have paid advertisements that look like every day people using and promoting their products. It's way more involved than bragging mothers. Some cook, some sing, some do hair, they all kind of have a speciality of sorts. It's more than your next door neighbor's mommy blog from 2010. |
These people prey on vulnerable and often not too swift people to make millions. The Hollis duo made a small fortune convincing people to pay thousands for their marriage seminars, though they had no degrees or license as psychologists. They felt their marriage was all the experience they needed....until they announced the divorce. Rachel Hollis made a fortune on a NYT best seller book where among other things she basically told people to ditch the fatty friends because it they can't stick to losing weight, they can't be good friends. The Stauffers made their fortune adopting a child with special needs and putting his life on display. They made sappy videos about how they will never give up on him...until they did and rehomed him. The Evil, narcissism and preying on innocent and vulnerable people should be exposed. The Gardners made a fortune and gained fame selling their oh so wholesome Christian family online....until it came out papa was contacting under-aged fangirls even in the wee hours of the morning and making them highly uncomfortable with his conversations. Instead of going to the police, a fangirl's mom contacted the wife and showed evidence. Miss wholesome wifey called it harassment and threatened to sue. |
Agree with all of this! |
Really?? Spill the tea! How did you find this out? This man has an MBA from Columbia right? He dropped a real job for the blog and then his next job is working for those 2? I figured through Mormon connections he found a real job. |
