Social influencer charlatans are imploding during quarantene

Anonymous
Let's see...The Stauffer life couple "rehomed" their adorable child with special needs who they adopted from China and who earned them a fortune in clicks and ads.

The Hollis duo who made a fortune selling their marriage with 4 kids, one of who is adopted....are divorcing.

The Gardner quad couple who made lots of money selling a beautiful Jesus loving family life with 4 girls are imploding because the father allegedly texted with underaged fangirls even late into the night and early morning in creepy, but likely not illegal ways. There are other allegations about him looking for love elsewhere.

Any other social media frauds that have gone bust since soicial distancing began?

Probably financial stress. Ad dollars and promotional $$ are way down, since companies are cutting back, and also no use in advertising certain products if people aren't going go buy them (vacation in Europe, for example).

Are we all waiting for the Holderness family to snap, or just me?

I've been waiting for the Stephanie Nielson family to explode for years. She's got FIVE kids. Surely one will rebel and come out as gay, or go to college, or stop being Mormon.

They seem reasonably well adjusted. They aren’t afraid to look imperfect, unlike some of the aforementioned IGers. Goofy is their schtick, not perfection.

+1. Her oldest kid is 18, I think, and she has three other teenagers. I think the cracks have really been showing ever since they had to sell their custom built dream house.

I also think Love, Taza is pretty much over. They probably won't recover from trying to sneak out of NYC in the middle of a pandemic, when their entire brand was built around raising their little Mormon family in the city.

+1 The mom has even spoken out about her anxiety and insecurity. I think they're mostly who they appear to be.

The Love Taza/Naomi Davis crew hightailed it out of NYC for Arizona and decided to stay because “Josh got a job”

This. I wouldn't be able to do what they do, I'd feel kind of ridiculous, but their whole brand/ model of reaching out is kind of the whole good looking messy thing. Messy (but not in a sad way) with means I guess is how I would describe it. Its basically built for all the crap that the lockdown causes!

You can add Stassi Schroder to that list. She was fired from VPR but also dropped by her publicist, agent, manager, podcast company, AND numerous sponsors on her Instagram.

Her career is dunzo. Ding dong the witch is dead.

Yeah, they annoy me personally, but I get the sense they're just kind of attention-seeking musical people who really are genuine and content.

Arielle Charnas. Nobody wants to work with her anymore.

PP you are quoting- agree. I don't find them annoying, i'm definitely indifferent to them, but they have that total musical theater cheese bend (at least he does). But some of the ones that are driven by the wife I actually find funny. There was one about the different kinds of outfits you wear on NYE, like single through kids, etc.

I dont know of who any them are by name, but no surprise.

You can only fool people so long.

Even the Orange man wrote that in his book in 1987. Seems he forgot it himself.

Most of what you see, hear, and read in the social media circle is anything but reality. This nation has trouble with reality, for people who seem to find "reality" so popular on TV.

I feel as though Ivanka just piped up "And it's all very male-dominated"
