Any colleges not hated by someone here? Any college universally loved?

UVA and Harvard are definitely not in the universal love category on DCUM.

Yale gets the most love of any of the Ivies on DCUM.

Effete school in terrible New Haven.

As put-downs go, that is so mild as to be praise. If you do it right, you can take down two schools at once.

"Yale - an overrated school for Harvard/Stanford rejects stuck in a run-down dump whose main claim to fame is that it's less dull than Princeton."

What about Brown? Isn’t it considered the “fun Ivy” and Providence has turned into a foodie town.

So far, it looks like only Wisconsin qualifies. Good to have one!

Are you trolling for Wisconsin? Seems you can’t read.

Apparently you've missed the threads about the Whiteness of Wisconsin after they had that tone deaf video promoting their school with nary a person of color to be seen. So no, Wisconsin is DQ'd.

Palo Alto is crazy overpriced but neither the town nor the campus is ugly. I enjoyed every moment of my time there!

Brown = bubble of over the top PC lunacy

Easiest Ivy for NYC types with low-IQ, drug-addled club kids to but their kids’ way into.

If Brown were a school for smart kids, Carolyn Bessette would still be around.

It was his Kennedy arrogance, not brains, that led to his poor decision.

That’s lovely. But the “mentoring” at Stanford isn’t exactly what some of us might want for our daughters.

Semi-obscure school that is stuck in Texas and churns out future urologists.

NP, a "reach" put down. I thought that was a great answer.

If you wanted to live with a bunch of Enron executives after they got out of jail, Rice was definitely a solid choice.

Largely ignored should not be confused with universally loved.
