You pull up a 3 1/2 year old thread at 3:30 in the morning to make this brilliant contribution that you needed to share with the world? Maybe it was much later at your Russian troll farm?

Villanova, Wake and BC in that order for business.

Overall Wake, Villanova, BC.

Once again, all are good choices. Let the student deter where they wish to go if money is not a factor. We asked our daughter and she said that she would prefer Wake or Nova but that was our daughter. Best of luck.
DS needs support and BC is his first choice. Concerned about how much support students receive from our BC tour too. Can anyone share about how supportive it is at BC and any experiences? Also are students collaborative or more competitive with each other?

BC is like the prettiest girl at a high school dance…people like to generate rumors to bring it down. I’ve heard “too white,” “too wealthy,” “too Catholic,” “not Catholic enough,” “too cold,” “too suburban,” “too many crucifixes.”

Now it’s “not enough support”???

What’s next? “It’s a few miles farther from Europe than BU is”? “You have to walk all the way across a street to get to the trolley station”??

The housing process at BC is a problem

Yes that is a real issue. Also there is nowhere to walk and go to a bar. I don’t like that you have to go to Boston to go out. I feel like college kids are better served at a college bar where you know your classmates.. and I realize this is more of a junior or senior year issue but still. BC only has that little Mexican place for food in walking distance. No college town area.

BC for sure especially for business.

This thread is 3 years old and the student is likely at least halfway through college

Troll. Bumps 3.5 year old thread simply to post this. Posters are wasting their time here.

No question - Wake is the best of those 3. Its easy to see with a tiny bit of research.

Thank you for replying. I am asking for my DS who is currently most interested in BC from the schools listed, am not a troll, and would appreciate any additional information. Are there really few options for going out and are students regularly traveling at least 20 minutes into Boston going to various locations with no real BC hang out? I often hear how students love BC and are having so much fun.

Are students collaborative or is the atmosphere more cut throat? Are professors and administrators supportive and available? Enough support systems in place for students? How is study abroad or internship placement? Thank you for any thoughts.

Never met a BC grad who complained about having trouble getting a drink.

From what I hear now BC is ridiculously hard to get into

Agree with this. Based on admits at our high school - Wake, BC, and then a tier lower Villanova, which is akin to Bucknell, lehigh etc. . .
