I don't think that scratch is for another season, somehow I just think its like "its not over" and one of those kind of non-closure endings.

NP. Just finished this series band really liked it - but have some questions.

With every “transformation,”’El Cuco supposedly had a “slave” to procure food, do his bidding, etc. That’s the person who develops the disgusting blisters in the back of the neck. We saw that with Claude and it was alluded to with the black male nurse who murdered the two girls (his cousin was the “slave”). But it’s never explained how Terry Maitland’s “doppelgänger” killed the young boy. Who was helping him? Why did we never see any strange effects happening to Terry the way we saw Claude get that feeling that someone was living inside him, seeing what he saw, etc.? It just seems like Terry was this happy-go-lucky guy who suffered no ill effects from the doppelgänger using his body double.

I also agree with the PPs who pointed out that the scenes in Tennessee at Claude’s brother’s house were odd. I also kept thinking, why aren’t they frantically looking for this guy/creature before he kills another child?! They all seemed so relaxed, just waiting for it to happen.
