But it’s never explained how Terry Maitland’s “doppelgänger” killed the young boy.  Who was helping him?  Why did we never see any strange effects happening to Terry the way we saw Claude get that feeling that someone was living inside him, seeing what he saw, etc.?  It just seems like Terry was this happy-go-lucky guy who suffered no ill effects from the doppelgänger using his body double.

I also agree with the PPs who pointed out that the scenes in Tennessee at Claude’s brother’s house were odd.  I also kept thinking, why aren’t they frantically looking for this guy/creature before he kills another child?!  They all seemed so relaxed, just waiting for it to happen.  [/quote]
