I don't fully understand this show. But, Steven King does tend to get into the mystical stuff in his books. I usually love his books until he ruins them with that stuff . . .
The Outsider is def creepy. The acting is terrific. I love Holly. But, I'm on the fence whether I will stick with it. |

Same. Other than 'The Shining' and 'Misery' I would never see anything King's done. But this show is just so well done. Holly Gibney as the on the spectrum detective is so engaging and relatable. Her little romance with the Dayton, Ohio former cop--the main character, Ralph gives such a nuanced subtle yet intense performance (AND he is easy on the eyes, I might add--I don't understand it but he is just fugly hot) and Justin Bateman--who knew that he was this good?! I thought he was just some 80's sitcom guy. Watch it! You won't be disappointed. I can't wait for tonight's episode! |
