The Outsider on HBO

Back again to say: OMG! It's so good!

And sidenote: I want Holly and Andy to have some sort of happy ever after but since it's Stephen King I know one of them will end up eviscerated or something...

Really good show! This past week's episode had me covering my eyes, though. I don't want to say more and give any spoilers, but...nightmarish!

Hey Outsider fans- HBO Go has released tonight’s episode early, I suppose to entice us away from the Super Bowl- enjoy!

Yes! I watched it this morning. Can’t figure out who the guy in the shootout is.

I watch this show in dread that something bad will happen to Holly. She’s really poking at the bear.

I just have to share how in love I am with Cynthia Erivo (Holly). She is so talented.

I don't fully understand this show. But, Steven King does tend to get into the mystical stuff in his books. I usually love his books until he ruins them with that stuff . . .

The Outsider is def creepy. The acting is terrific. I love Holly. But, I'm on the fence whether I will stick with it.

Same. Other than 'The Shining' and 'Misery' I would never see anything King's done. But this show is just so well done.

Holly Gibney as the on the spectrum detective is so engaging and relatable. Her little romance with the Dayton, Ohio former cop--the main character, Ralph gives such a nuanced subtle yet intense performance (AND he is easy on the eyes, I might add--I don't understand it but he is just fugly hot) and Justin Bateman--who knew that he was this good?! I thought he was just some 80's sitcom guy. Watch it! You won't be disappointed.

I can't wait for tonight's episode!

Sorry above edit: Gibney's little romance with the former cop is so cute and separate character, Georgia detective Ralph gives the nuanced performance...

Ok, I forgot the real name of the actress who plays Holly Gibney, but whatever they're paying her, it's not enough.

It’s Cynthia Erivo from Harriet. I didn’t realize that was the same actress until the Oscars.

Justin Batemen has been making quality TV and movies for YEARS. And developing and directing many of them.
