I’m on maternity leave and it’s the perfect mindless show to watch while feeding my baby. The leads are nice to look at and if you miss some dialogue it doesn’t really matter because it’s so bad.

I watched it this weekend. I liked it. But I also wasn’t expecting Academy award level acting and plots. I knew it would be Hallmark level and that’s what it was. Some of the criticism here is bizarre. Were you all unfamiliar with the book series it’s based on? It’s a pretty cheesy lots of big drama that’s always pleasantly resolved for the characters. Like Chesapeake Shores.

Yes hope drove me crazy!

Just watched the whole thing. It was pretty bad but I couldn't stop. And now I'll have to watch the new season of or when it comes out to find out what happens to Paige.

Does she wear the same pair of pants the whole way thru the show? Black leggings? eww.

I tried rewatching this with my kid yesterday as I'd binged it a few months back. Before the end of ep 1 had finished she was like "this is so boring mom can we stop?"

In season 1 yes but in season 2 no because she put on weight and the extended the budget to buy her a pair of jeans

I tried to watch this and tried to like it. I loved Hart of Dixie. Virgin River is just awful. I didn’t make it past the third episode in season one. That main female character can’t act for anything.

yes we all know this, it is so true.

but sometimes you just have to give into a bad show and let it all wash over you

it helps to be tired and / or half drunk
