Seagrove near Santa Rosa beach |
Good sleuthing, how did you do that? |
There is one listing that has all the pictures removed and was sold in the timeframe they mentioned in the area they mentioned. It was easy to put the pieces together. I found old photos of the house on google before the listing pictures were taken down and it’s definitely the house. |
There are various public records that also identify them as the owners of the house, I saw this in another form. She is still posting videos of their mattress on the floor surrounded by items all over their bedroom. They brought way too much stuff to this tiny house |
Sherry posted about George Floyd’s murder in her Instagram stories. Her Instagram is normally an escape for me, but I am glad she called this out. |
I’ve followed them forever. Since it was this young house and they had to change the name. I still really like them. Not sure why they moved to Florida but they can always move back to Virginia if it doesn’t work out. They do have pretty good suggestions of affordable decorating ideas. |
Sherry just posted a video on the blog of their kitchen and sitting area in the new house. It looks really, really tight and she seems nervous or like she’s trying to hard to defend all their choices as she’s taking about it. Check out how they are storing their cereal in drawers that look like a bookcase… This house is a mess. There’s also a picture of Jon on the blog sitting at the table looking forlorn. I bet he wishes #johnsaidno! |
+1 She sounds defensive and desperate. I don't see how they can't be second-guessing this decision. |
Yeah, her tone is way different from when she is normally talking in IG stories. I really dislike the way they have planned a layout for that house. Their bedroom would actually be a really nice living area, and it is huge, while the kids have tiny rooms and no other dedicated place space. People really don’t spend that much time in their bedrooms, it is not logical for them to claim that As their space when the house is so small and it could have a multi-purpose to use and benefit everyone |
It’s not a rumor. They confirmed it on their podcast. I do think the abuse allegations are ridiculous. If only every “abused” child got to grow up in a beautiful house like the Richmond house and go to the beach all summer! Now they live in a small house close to the beach which is also NOT even close to abuse. I actually think that John and Sherry have been a lot better parents since starting the podcast. They never show their children’s faces and never say their names anymore. Pictures are either from behind or too far to recognize the kids faces. The kids definitely have a lot more privacy than during the blog days — which is good thing! |
I know this thread is old now but they honestly did not pay too much---the land value alone is almost worth that, just saying. |
I think this was driven by Florida's lack of state income tax. |
They are cheap by nature. |
If you listened to their podcast, you would know that they tried doing it all themselves first, and realized they couldn't do it, then contracted it out to cleaners. They still did a lot of it themselves, though. |
Nobody said anything about child abuse, weirdos. You can easily google their children's names and the old blog posts so you can find out their birthdays and like their entire birth stories. If they really wanted privacy for their kids, they should have gone back and deleted their names and other info off of the blog. And yes, it's good that they are giving their children privacy. I do think it's weird that their kids have never appeared to participate in any extracurriculars or other activities though. |
