S/O at what age do men “hit the wall”?

Anonymous
I don't know. My DH is 50 and is still really hot. I'm sure I am partial because I love him/his personalty too but I have seen women hit on him before (in front of me).

I hit the wall at 44. When I got divorced at 44, I joined the gym, improved my posture, learned new hobbies, got a new job and just closed on a new house. I have my kids 50% of the time and I love it. I think I got up and went through the wall lol because I am more energetic, I don't slouch anymore so I am not a solid 6'0 as opposed to a soft 5'11, I enjoy life better, and for the first time ever I have well defined muscles. I am not dating yet, I am not interested in that. Whenever I want to smash I just get a ONS. Life is good.

Sexually though I am one and done. To go again I need 10 hours. That's honestly the biggest change I have noticed in my 40s

No one group ages better, more melanin or not. I see fit people who are 30s or 40s because their activities put them in the sun a lot. Often they are pretty wrinkled. Especially here in the west.

I would say for most males and females it's by 45 or 50.

If you are “in the West,” you are unlikely to have access to a large sample size of African Americans or African immigrants. I live in a city that’s 50% black and see a lot of naked bodies via my job in health care.

“Black” people absolutely age best in terms of skin and muscle tone and sag/ no sag. It’s not uncommon to meet 70 year old AA men and women with no wrinkles. Truth.

I am 45 and dating a White woman who is 40 and she looks way older than I do. But its okay she has great qualities. We are both divorced and each have a lot of money.

Everyone drinks in college, unless you’re some weird fundamentalist.

DH is 47 and looks fantastic, but most of his same-age friends began hitting the wall a few years ago. Diet, exercise, and sunscreen all make a huge difference for both men and women.

Alcohol I have noticed prematurely age people especially women.

There's too much variance along socioeconomic and ethnic lines to determine an "average" age at which a man hits the wall.

If we're talking about the absolute upper limit at which an attractive man will no longer be sexually attractive to prime women, no matter what type interventions he attempts to cease aging, then it's probably the mid 40s for White men and upper 40s for ethnic men.

Brad Pitt, despite all the money and access to surgeons, started to look like an old man by the time he made Moneyball in 2010-11. He looked weathered compared to his appearance in Burn After Reading, which was released in 2008. I thought he was still very much "Brad" when he made Mr. and Mrs. Smith at the age of 42.

Idris Elba looks like an old man now at 52. A sexy old man but an old man nonetheless. Without fame and fortune, he'd probably be considered too old by 24 to 28 years olds, just going by looks alone. Idris 5 years ago was still very much a smoke show and would have no problem pulling women in their 20s.

Brains hit the wall at age 4

Bodies hit the wall once married.

Brains turn to total mush shortly thereafter. Oh, except for office work.

It definitely does

Somewhere between 30 and 60, depending on lifestyle and genes. For example, I find Brad Pitt (60) and Eddie Vedder (59) more attractive than balding, overweight thirty-something men, but there is a ceiling, even for celebrities. I can't think of anyone older than Brad Pitt who I find attractive.

There's this guy in the gym I go to who is 50s I would guess. He's in shape and clearly works out but isn't overly pumped up. He has a head of hair that is graying with green eyes. He's 5'10 or 5'11 and I can't take my eyes off of him. There are much younger guys there and they do not spark as much attention as him. So hot.

Black people definitely age better. Larenz Tate might be the best looking 49 year old man ever.

You're wrong. All of my friends with melanin look so much younger than most white people their ages. It really does make a difference for wrinkles. Although it could also be less time spent tanning, but it is a consistent, noticeable difference.
