ok, we'll throw richmond in just above BRYC. And we'll stick with a top 10. Geez. Girls ECNL/DA 05: 1 FCV DA, #2 isn't close 2 Arlington DA 3 Pipeline (What happens with SAC Baltimore Spirit Merge?) 4 Spirit Baltimore 5 VDA ECNL 6 MU DA (even with the win over VDA) 7 Bethesda ECNL 8 McLean ECNL 9 Richmond 10 BRYC (this team will be better next season) BOUNCED: Loudoun ECNL (lower level additions for next year won't help much especially with the loss of players. They just won't be competitive) |

Fair. FCV seemed to struggle in the Spring. My rankings would look like: Girls ECNL/DA 06 1. VDA 2. Arlington 3. FCV ---------Seems to be rather marginal play below this...mostly losing records---------- 4. Bethesda 5. BRYC 6. Loudoun 7. Maryland United 8. McLean 9. MU DA |

You must be the Pipeline person. GotSoccer and Youth Soccer rankings fall apart a bit when ECNL and DA are involved. ECNL teams play in significantly fewer ranked events and DA's rarely play in any. |

Got soccer rankings are based on number of tournaments played/won. You won't see rankings for DA teams and limited for ECNL. My DD has played on teams where they compete in 8-10 tournaments per year for 'ranking' to recruit and promote club/team. At the ECNL level, they don't do that. Look at their record in ECNL...#1 in MA. That was my rationale. FCV has slipped in the spring and lost a couple to Arlington. Arlington / VDA is a toss up really. |

I think the pipeline parent mentioned the youth soccer rankings site earlier to demonstrate the pipeline dominance.
The site omits nearly all DA teams (I saw 1), and the note on the side mentions need to update for NPL, ECNL games. Looks like the person is just not putting in DA results/scores or tracking them. All the sites are arbitrary. TDS doesn't have pipeline listed in the top 25 at all at any age group that I saw. But TDS also lists FCV lower than teams they have beat more than once.
