Jeopardy!

We watched last night, I wouldn't mind seeing Nate back again another time. If he'd found the 2nd daily double I'm sure James' streak would have been broken.

I agree but what was striking was that although Nate got two of the daily doubles, James still managed to take the lead away from him by just his speed with the buzzer and his extraordinary level of knowledge on just so many subjects and of course the one daily double he did get.

BTW, his speed with the buzzer is being countered by some contestants who seem to give James some competition. Nate was certainly fast with the buzzer.

I think James beat him because of this, not because of knowledge. Nate gave him his run for the money, really.

The problem that some contestants up against James are having is that they are trying to emulate James' strategy and wagering but they don't have the knowledge base to fully effect it.

Nate was an exception ...... he really was very good.

Super cool thanks for sharing.

Interesting how he’s turned the show into money and not brain power.

Thanks for that, fascinating!

I love him, missed him while the Teacher's Tournament was on, and unfortunately he is making the normal games seem very boring.

I love this picture of him when he was 4 and considered a math prodigy.

He is astounding, but can we talk about that Final Jeopardy clue??

The game of Life used to have a SUICIDE SQUARE. My jaw is still on the floor!

Well of course he has the brain power, but yes - he is acting like a poker player with a "big stack" who can push around the little stack players

Channel 7 in DC pissed off a whole lot of people tonight when they preempted Jeopardy, with James hovering on the edge of beating Ken Jennings record. They were covering possible tornadoes in the Fredericksburg area. They apologized to all the angry Jeopardy fans and eventually said it would be on at 1:36 a.m. so set your DVR!

The weather guy kept saying, "This is a severe situation for the people in that area and if it was your area you would want us to cover it for you."

The thing they didn't seem to get was that every other local channel on the TV was covering the storm and people were pretty much only tuning in channel 7 to watch Jeopardy.
