For the most part, he is so flat that he appears to possibly have Aspergers. |
I think he would love to beat Ken Jennings but may be throwing in the towel for his daughter. |
He answers so quickly that he does come off as mechanical but not sure about Aspergers. He sure is skipping a lot of easy questions tonight. |

Don't google his name if you don't want to see headlines that spoil the results

*spoiler on tonight’s episode*
I feel like he was just done tonight. Why wager so little unless you were ready to throw in the towel? |
He knew he was done. She’s a librarian and book nerd and she showed she was going to wager enough to beat him. She didn’t play it safe on the daily double that put her in the lead. |
The low bet was his best chance of winning. He knew she would wager enough to beat him if they were both right, so he was betting on her getting it wrong. With a low net, if she was wrong with her big bet, he would win if he was right OR wrong. The low bet would also keep him ahead of the third guy if third guy was right and he was wrong. He made the statisticsally best bet but still lost. |
| I can’t believe the results leaked before the show. Maddening. |
| He made the smartest final bet he could make. His only chance of winning was if she got the answer wrong. She was smart enough to guarantee that. Anyone who knows Jeopardy (or math) knew exactly how much she would bet. |
Do the math...He wagered the exact amount that he should've bet. It was his only chance. She had to get it wrong for him to win. |

I thought it was odd that she beat him to the buzzer so often - typically these multi-game winners keep winning largely because they get so used to timing their buzzing in perfectly.
That said, she kicked his ass. I'm looking forward to watching her play now. And James will be back for umpteen championship tournaments. |

I thought it was VERY odd that she beat him to the buzzer.
He was a joy to watch. So sad this run is over. |
He also wagered an amount that would have locked out the third place guy by one dollar if he was wrong and the third place guy was right and bet it all. 3rd place guy was pretty good, too. |
I don’t get that from him at all. He seems very personable, sweet, and even-keeled. “Aspergers”??

"Aspergers" is DCUM for "smarter than my kid." |
