Lost
Friends The Walking Dead Breaking Bad (after season 1) Game of Thrones (also after season 1). |
Try reading. It says "never seen an episode of GoT and don't want to." |

Also gave up This is Us
Mrs Maisel (first eps were ok, then over it) Homeland - liked first few seasons, now over it |

Schitts Creek. People say it is so funny and I watched four episodes and never laughed once.
I have never seen an episode of Game of Thrones. |
| The wire |
NP. You try reading. The thread title is shows "that you can't get into and why." |

Friends
There are a couple of earlier episodes I can watch that are funny but overall it’s just egh. |
| GoT - I couldn’t keep all those dirty, fur covered characters straight. |
|
I agree with you about Gilmore Girls.
I loved that show when I was a teenager and I tried to watch it again as an adult and it doesn't hold up. I think it 's one of those things that only works for a certain time in life. Any adult who says it's good, is purely saying it out of nostalgia. The quirkiness is way too forced and it was too hard to overlook all the plot holes. |
You sound like a twit, judging people for a show you also watched. GTFO |

Big Bang Theory
I usually love sitcoms, or at least find them fun in the moment. I loved the kid who plays the main character in Christmas Vacation and Rosanne. But I tried watching different episodes of this a few times, and it was just not funny or interesting in any way. I don’t get why/how it’s so popular. |
| Almost any. I'm a movie person. I went to 280 movies in the theater last year. I don't like to stay home and watch tv. |
I’m an adult and enjoy the show. I didn’t even finish the last season when it originally aired (I was in college and lost interest). I rewatched it after watching the remake on Netflix bc I was curious again. For me, it held up and I actually found it more enjoyable. I also understood the relationships more between mother and daughter. I also take tv for what it is, simple entertainment. |
How much did you spend? I assume you don't have cable or any premium subscriptions (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc.). Isn't going to the theater a big time suck with both the time in the seat and getting there/back? |
