| Mad Men. |
SAME, PP! Have never seen an episode of GoT and do not want to Never got into The Office This is Us - I got through season 2 but just barely. I quietly judge anyone who is still watching. |
If you have “never seen an episode” you can’t say you “couldn’t get into it.” |
|
Gilmore Girls. Even glancing if DD is watching is too much. Walking Dead. Fear these same Dead.
Dexter. Breaking Bad. Never watched This is Us. Never watched any csi show. Orange is the New Black, also never watched. The Office, and I tried. It is just stupid, imo. |
You and I are not alone
I also did not like The Good Place |
Just out of curiosity, which shows IYO go deep? |
| I miss Frasier, for example. It was very smart and played like theater. The acting and writing was in a completely different league from most of the shows discussed here. (I know it’s a comedy and most of these are dramas, but I’m referring to the overall quality.) |
| To those who don’t like Veep and Friends, what didn’t you like about them? I think the newest season of Veep is a bit weaker and I LOVED Friends when I was in HS. |
PP probably low-key judges anyone who watches any TV at all. PP probably spends his/her evenings listening to 1940s radio dramas while sipping cognac and reading McSweeney's. |
Friends for me = the lack of diversity of any form. I preferred shows that reflect the reality of NYC. |
Count me in for Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. |
Can you name any show that actually does that? |
|
Grey's Anatomy. This is Us. Sappy emo garbage.
Breaking Bad. House of Cards. Walking Dead. Lost. All boring. The Office. Not funny and not relatable for me. Barry. Not for me. |
| Breaking Bad and The Americans. DH loves The Americans but I can't get into it, for some reason.... can't pinpoint why. |
So pompous. |
