Yeah we feel so bad at how the team is playing in tournaments. Maybe we will skip our games tomorrow and come admire you guys play in the 3rd bracket at Jeff Cup. |
4-7-2 for the 06. Loudoun 06 ECNL are in the second bracket at Jeff Cup and FCV DA are in the first. 4-7-2 Loudoun 05 ECNL (1-9-2) are in the 6th Bracket and FCV's NPL, NPL!!!!! team is in the 5th Bracket above them. But you go and get that last top bracket Jeff Cup win at 9v9 Loudoun Red! |
Thanks for the encouragement. Should be a fun weekend! |
Not PP but am happy to apologize for them.Sorry for interrupting the bickering between adults about their children’s soccer teams and their Jefferson Cup brackets. My sincerest apologies. Please resume to talking about FCV getting loudon players through their partnership. Can anyone provide additional statistics to share how many goals were scored by loudon players for fcv? |
| If everyone is unhappy with Loudoun or FCV go to BRYC! They’re in the process of Spring Recruiting...... I mean Spring cleaning......... Damn it ....... Spring try-outs. |
| This is typical small club vs big club talk. FCV talks big so parents are a bit myopic. |
| Small club? Loudon has 15000 players. |
They meant Loudoun=Big Club and FCV=Small CLub. |
| I thought FCV was a big club. |
Nah, it is a mid sized club. Big clubs are: Loudoun Arlington Bethesda PWSI CYA Alexandria maybe? SYA ? Mid sized are: Vienna McLean LMVSC FCV VSA? Small: BRYC sorta midsized I'm just pulling names out of a hat here though. I would say a big club has 3 or more teams for both boys and girls at all ages below U14. A big club also has very large established rec program. Mid Sized clubs consistently have 2 teams per age group for both boys and girls. A rec program may or may not be included. Small clubs may only serve boys or girls. If they serve both they rarely have two teams per age group. If they serve either boys or girls almost exclusively then they may be prone to have two teams per age group. Will include a very small rec program if they have one at all. |
None of these teams will win Jeff Cup |
| I love how Loudoun thinks they are small club. clueeelesss |

FCV and Loudoun fight never ends
What is interesting is that among all this, no one has opinions on where Arlington 07s will come out?Big club, successful, and good DA coaches. Overlooked players on 07 B team - will they continue to be ignored, or will the club look to add from outside to fill the bigger 11 a side roster next year? One problem is certain parents on the Red team, but shouldn't those things end by U13 |
| Compared to Loudoun, FCV is a small club. Loudoun has more coaches in one age group than FCV has overall. Loudoun is big. They own their facilities including lighted fields, turf and grass fields, indoor meeting rooms and they are even building indoor practice facilities. FCV rents space at Evergreen. Loudoun is 20 times bigger than FCV. No comparison. |
Just to correct you, for 05 FCV team it is the EDP team that is ranked #1 in the state that is in the 5th bracket, not the NPL team. But, we get your point. |
