OP here. I go to both the Reston and Sterling stores. |
Exactly. It was perfect as it was. Now they've just confused everything and everyone. Totally unnecessary. |
Precisely. -OP |
+2 And also, isn't there already seating in the Starbucks / cafe area? |
I've never heard any complaints about Target in the past - only since the new remodel. They had a great thing going - everyone I know *loves* shopping there (or did). I hope they get a ton of complaints and revert back to their original model. |
YES. Enough with the mixed-use aisles. Everything should be in its own section. The home goods area is such a mess - they think it's somehow cute or clever to combine things, making it impossible to find what you're looking for. It was so much better when blankets were in the blanket aisle and picture frames were in the frames aisle. |
I always found (and bought) items I didn't need when it was laid out normally. It's one reason I loved going to Target - you never knew what they might have. But now, the nonsensical arrangement has almost turned me off completely from going there, which is awful! I *LOVE* the old Target! |
Exactly. It's not fun anymore. Now it's a chore. Maybe if we all contact Target corporate and complain, they'll listen. I'm sure people across the country feel this way. |
+3 The tables & chairsi & benches I n the garden section are unsold merchandise, btw, not free-for-all alternative public seating for those not wanting to sit in the cafe . I doubt either the store or the potential/future owners want your kids having popcorn & slushees (!!!) on them! |
This is probably why they were removed. Too much crushed popcorn and spilled slushee ruining the merchandise and making the floor gross. If you need to eat do it in the eating area, not at tables and chairs that are for sale. |
Duh - they’ll be back in the spring. |
It’s not a cafe. |
As plenty of People have said throughout the thread: Burke, Sterling, Reston. Leesburg as well. Gaithersburg is coming. Southern California chimed in. If your store isn't remodeled yet, just wait, it's coming. The remodel itself was infuriating because they did it all during store hours and it was a disaster as things were temporarily moved and in the most preposterous locations. The remodel also seems to have left little room for actual stock so the selection is worse than it used to be. I don't think I was able to buy a single thing for my kids there at Christmas- just no selection. Tiny little tables and mini racks at weird angles everywhere cluttered with crap that don't allow your buggy to move through. It really is not user friendly at all. |
Change is bad! |
OMG Yes. Except my Target ( Silver Spring) has some Thermos's with the lunchboxes in the sporting section and some with the cutlery in the kitchen section. |
