Despite all this, I’m converting to Catholicism

Yeah, I don't think we'll be flooded with responses.

Sweden and Finland seem like more good options for pp. And there’s always neutral Switzerland! Or a tent and really warm gear in Antarctica.

This logic is so ridiculous. But yeah, whatever you need to continue to support this. I've heard a lot of excuses for the church but this one is probably the oddest.

Here's a thought - maybe instead of attacking people who care about kids, you should send rapists priests to Antartica. But I guess they are sacred and can do anything. SO g

I’m pp and I’m not Catholic. But I do like the idea of bigots like you freezing your butts off in Antarctica. Seriously, though, when you cut your ties with this hate-mongering and racist presidency, by stopping your tax payments, we’ll all respect your (formerly one-note) outrage a little bit more.

Jeeze Louise, you HAVE to belong to a country you don't HAVE to belong to a church! Most people do not have the option of just picking the country they would like to be a citizen of. It isn't like joining a gym where you just pay your membership and you are in. It is a stupid an irrational argument.

Why do you not understand that some countries are less militaristic than this one, and have presidents who are less racist and mendacious? That’s what your tax dollars are currently going to, but you can change that by moving. Why is that so hard to understand?

PS. I’m not Catholic but I suspect the Catholics aren’t bothering with you.

Never, obviously.

Did you go to the Trump school of demogoguery? It’s the fact that you extend your hate and your accusations to *all* Catholics. Duh.

I'm Jewish, but grew up with a lot of Catholics. I can see the appeal and wish you success with your new spiritual home.

I tell you I'm Jewish because when I was a kid, my denomination didn't ordain women or treat women as equals. Don't even get me started on homosexuality. We came around through years of hard work by people who saw all the good hidden behind some bad practice. We ordain women, we marry same sex couples. We are still Jews.

Be the change you want to see.

Yeah, I don't think we'll be flooded with responses.

I guess, then, we will have to assume there are no responses to be given.

Not me. I’m assuming the Catholics are sick of your never-ending baiting and insults.

An intelligent and thoughtful response to the question would end that instantly. So why don't you provide that?

OP here and indeed sick of this conversation. There is a whole lay organization dedicated to accountability for bishops. If you care about these things, look it up.

You actually don’t have to belong to this country. Or probably any country. Renounce your citizenship and go roam around as a stateless person.

Of course I am and am part of a group that is. But I don't need to share my information with you since that really isn't the goal of the question. The goal of the question is to yell at Catholics for not doing enough or for just being Catholic.

I’m the “Not me” poster pp is responding to, and I’m also not Catholic. Agree 100% that the goal is to bait Catholics then shout them down. Most of all the goal is to keep up the hateful trolling indefinitely. DCUM’s Catholics have wisely spotted this and have backed out of the room.

Agree that they have but I believe it is because they cannot defend the indefensible.

No, they’re sick of being trolled by the likes of you. Like pp just said.

I do not believe that.
