Total ho here. I'm 48 but in as a college senior, I took a guy I had just met in a bar back to MY house BUT he was the lead singer in the college bar band. He finished the gig, we closed down the bar and back to my place.

We attempted a hook up but he was too drunk to do much.
Met again soon after for a more traditional date and I immediately realized I wasn't attracted to him. Never saw him again.

I'm a man. Twice in the early 90s. College bars. I'm 45 now. They weren't women I knew, but they were friends of friends. So some of the "axe murderer" risks were minimized. I don't usually have any game, but I was drunk as hell on both occasions. Liquid courage and some luck was what I needed.

Op here. Plenty of times I was there with friends who had friends there still never happened. My lack of game was insurmountable. Being really drunk probably make it even less likely. Even I would just want to go home and sleep
