How many of you have "gone home" with someone you just met in a bar?

I remember in the 1990s clubs were popular. Imagine it was common but having no game, bad hearing and can’t dance I would not go to clubs.

Never a total stranger. There have been people I dated/hooked up with that the first time we hooked up was going home from a bar, but I’ve known them ahead of time either through school or through a friend or something. I don’t judge you if that’s what you do, but I feel safer at least having a little recon knowledge on someone.

Quite a few times in college/my early 20s! Now I’m closing in on 40 with three kids. Totally happy but also happy about having had fun in my 20s.

I did it a few times, but only had sex with one (who ended up crying and reading poetry afterwards - hmmm). The next time a super hot bartender went down on me, and after that I merely slept in the upper NW home of the parents of my "ONS" visiting from Brooklyn (he drove me home with me in my slinky black cocktail dress the next morning).

Looking back I guess I feel it could have been worse. I hope my kids don't do it. Too many wierdos out there.

Never. I’ve never been a risk taker - was always paranoid about STDs, getting pregnant, or getting myself into a bad or dangerous situation. Needless to say, I’ve only ever had sex with three different people (one of them is my husband) and I’m 40.

+1

We could be friends.

PP here. I never thought of it as something that unusual. Granted, I married late, so I had a good number of years as a single person. And I'm now a church-going middle aged mom with kids in Catholic school. I don't think I'm that much of an outlier.

Funny my best friend is a middle aged mom with kids in Catholic school but we were always sure she would bring someone home from the bar in out 20's.

Op here, as a guy I’m not worried about going home with an axe murderer but stds worries me. But with my zero game it was never a realistic possibility. I’m literally the guy who was in a fraternity and went to parties where everyone hooked up but me

I went home with a guy that I met at a friend's wedding. Then I married him.

Don’t worry about your game. I have been married a long time but I have slept with plenty of men....who were wildly in love with me. That doesn’t happen in an hour.

It's dangerous for sure. We would not let roommates bring them to our home in college.

A couple times from parties, but never from a bar. I'm 46.
