Who are the lounge chair claimers?

I love to be near the ocean, see the ocean, hear the ocean, smell the ocean... but I hate sand. It's not that befuddling really.

This is done by the stewards, who require a tip to provide you with a lounge chair.

Yes, it is befuddling. You can sit by a pool anywhere. It's crowded and noisy. Wear sandals and make sure your feet are dry when you walk to a lounger on the beach.

Come on, people. someone moved my stuff and was a jerk about it, I sat on the chair right next to him, blocked his sun and rubbed sand on him. He just got up and moved, what a looser I also shamed him while he walked away. I was at lunch and was using my chair and planned to take a nap after lunch. He felt entitled to my chair. NO, just NO. Its like when you go to Paris and you are waiting for the line at the Eiffel Tower, you have to get up early to get what you want (to be 1st in line), that’s what you have to do when you are from a city you have to deal with all sorts of people. Yeah, guess where I’m from.

How did he take your chair if you were sitting in it?

Why not just get a cabana?

The same people who claim tables before ordering at a crowded counter service restaurant.

This is why I love this place. Such a window in to the crazy. Love it!

I’m from Western NY and I’d have to agree with you, except to say they are probably from the NYC area or Long Island.
I’d also throw New Jersey onto the list as well.

This.

They are probably liberals, too.

And ... you stay in line for the Eiffel Tower, not just leave a towel to wait there in line for you?
